The Almighty Doer of Stuff Shaper Member # 73	written Thursday, May 12 2005 10:32 Profile #8 I sometimes suffer from an unfortunate lack of ability to control my thoughts, making lucid dreaming unpleasant for me. For instance, say I'm dreaming that I'm about to do it with some hot chick. Suddenly I'll realize I'm dreaming, and my semi-concious mind takes over. Things lose focus as I begin to wake up. I'll think "No! No! Stay asleep!" Random thoughts then start popping into my head, as if my brain is telling me "Wake up! You must wake up ten minutes before your alarm goes off!" and I'll think "No! I want to stay asleep and finish this dream!" The random thoughts are usually along the lines of my 10th grade Geometry teacher showing up or a train going by. Then the woman will say something incredibly stupid like "I like to handle poultry!" and sprout large zits all over her face and I'll get up and walk away. I'll think "No! Turn around! Remove zits now! Please!" So I'll turn around, and standing in the woman's place is Binky the Clown. Eventually I just give up trying and wake up. Speaking of soda, I was once at a party with my cousin Matt. We decided we were going to mix the various non-alcoholic beverages in different amounts to see how they tasted. These are the results (or close to them. Most of them don't add up to 1 because we were going by how much of the cup was filled rather than actual amount, so I'm editing them a bit): --2/5 pink lemonade, 2/5 Sprite (a lemon-lime soda), 1/5 Coke - good --1/5 lemon-lime seltzer, 2/4 cranberry juice, orange juice 2/5 - no result listed, which means okay tasting I guess --3/5 orange juice, 1/5 Coke, 1/5 Sprite - cider XTREME (if I remember correctly, this meant it tasted like apple cider but with invigorating but not overwhelming carbonation, really good) --1/7 root beer, 1/7 Sprite, 1/7 pink lemonade, 1/7 orange soda, 1/7 coke, 1/7 cranberry, 1/7 orange juice - Terrible (underlined) --2/5 orange soda, 2/5 orange juice, 1/5 cranberry juice - nothing again, okay tasting probably --1/3 (10/30) Coke, 1/6 (5/30) orange soda, 1/5 (6/30) Sprite, 1/10 (3/30) cranberry juice (too much adjusting to make it equal 1, so just go by that fraction of the volume of the glass) - boring (don't ask me how something can taste boring. Officials didn't believe it could be resolved by simply issuing the couple a warning. ''Sometimes you have to let people talk to the judge,'' Moore said. The chicken's owners say they believe they were cited because they were among several people who complained that sheriff's deputies haven't done enough to control off-road vehicle riders who damage roads and create dust and noise in their neighborhood. Sheriff's officials say that isn't so, adding they are doing what they can to keep off-roaders away from the area's homes.
