All right! I've loaded a sample to this address: http://img413.imageshack.us/my.php?image=page20md0.jpg Thanks much, Scorpius. And any and all suggestions are welcome for cat comics, supposing they are possible with a digital camera and a laptop. I have placed an order for G2 & G4. The form said one buisness day, but I placed my order at about 8:30 on Wednesday, 7:30 Seattle time. Does anyone have an estimate for when the email should come in? -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I think it may have something to do with the fact he's used so many canisters that they just don't affect him any more. He certainly did not display the easily provoked tendencies of most other canister users. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I am not sure if any work by anyone has been put into a G4 editor. If there is an editor in progress, I would be quite happy to help. If such an editor is impossible, I would like to know. I have also not heard anything about script-editing in any Geneforge related forums lately, so if I am commiting a violation of any forum rules, I apologize. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. Do you have your final caravan quest from Greta? The caravan will help you fight your way through the guards. If you are playing a rebel, open the gates for them. If you are playing a Shaper, and have general Crowley's quest to betray the caravan, light the signal fire by the water. If you are alone and do not have the caravan to help you, you may want to turn around and finish Greta's list of chores for her. And you're quite welcome. I would probably stay in my room with some rubber tubing and plastic piping. Also an air compressor, a bucket of golf balls, a rubber sealer, a 2x4, and a quarterstaff. (Those few members who have been to the Spudtech website will know what I am talking about. ) I would probably take the defensive stand and defend my own territory. Aggressiveness is just too suicidal against such odds. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. My resolution is: I really, really need to stop stealing the dough from my mum before she makes the cookies. It only earns me a kick in the pants and a handful of crumbs. The old "save yourself the toil and gimme the dough" doesn't work anymore. But a pail of shortbread looks sooo good when it's just left on the counter with a clean spoon in the drawer under it. . . Where to start, where to start... I love reading anything, from cereal boxes to classics, so I can recommend wholeheartedly: 1. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes 2. Cornelia Funke's The Thief Lord 3. Lucy Maude Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables 4. Any and all writings, fictional or not, on "Buzz" Beurling 5. Isaac Asimov's Fantastic Voyage Oh, and personal experience forces me to say that by confining your search for books to sci-fi and fantasy, you are doing yourself a disservice. -------------------- The Survival Elite Posts: 794 | Registered: Thursday, July 27 2006 07:00 |

Opon mars, I have today read so many of your posts concerning another Geneforge-related game I just have to say this: 1)Mr. Vogel, as it says on the SpidWeb homepage, is going to halt production of new games for a while. I would imagine suggestions would be welcome when work begins on G5. 2)As I am not a mean-hearted person, I refuse to squash any idea outright. Programming is not nightmarishly difficult. Well, most of the time. You may be able to design this Great Return game. Take a look at the Shareware Developer's Corner. :) [ Tuesday, January 02, 2007 12:19: Message edited by: Sarasaphilia ] -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. quote:I am pretty sure that the Spirit in Spirit's City in the temple gives you that. Heustess tells you that he/she/it participated in and was altered by the war. I know from G3 that apparently the drakons found out how to Shape in very tiny detail and knew almost everything about it, and the Shapers did not and simply experimented (read paragraph above merchandise display when trading with Bluth). Heustess may simply have been the victim of such experimenting, before Shaping was refined into making creations. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I sort of thought that from Heustess' description of the first Shaper vs Shaper war that it was wide open, involved "foul magic," and destroyed the rest of her/his/its race. Where did the trenches come up? I never read that, and I think I've covered the whole Sucia Isle. And in answer to the second question, the only Shaper/Shaper war I know of took place thousands of years ago, probably near the area known as "The Sentinels." -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. I would like a brand new, Quad-Xenon tower Macintosh computer complete with a brand new monitor. The computer should have 64-bit processing, a few gigs of memory, 250 gig hard drive, dual optical disk slots, dvd/cd burner/player. Santa should plug it in for me, too. Go ahead. Ask me why this particular thing. -------------------- You Shall Die Laughing: http://www.worfthecat.ermarian.net/converted The Roost: www.roost01.proboards104.com. Birds of a feather flock together.
