Character Editor help in Blades of Avernum

Should you have done this and want your character editor back, this is how to restore it: If using a Macintosh, throw away the "Blades of Avernum Prefs " file in the Preferences folder. If using Windows, delete the "Blades of Avernum Settings" (or "Blades of Avernum Settings.dat" if you changed the settings to turn on file extensions) file in the Blades of Avernum Data folder. Please note if you have registered the game, this might unregister it. If your game becomes unregistered, contact us for a new key by calling 206.789.4438 or emailing spidweb@spiderwebsoftware.com. You have to click the button twicw in order for it to reset. Go back around the isle of Bigil and he will be there. Mission complete! P.S what I liked to do was find someone in Kirzan and look for jobs in the place where I am fighting the plague. For example: The roachs are on the Isle of Bigil so I pick the jobs that are associated with that so I don't have to jump all around. New scenario / Update to another in Blades of Avernum
ginger8445 Warrior Member # 7125	written Saturday, October 27 2007 15:19 Profile #22 I did that and tried to search it but all it says is "you look at the space and see BOX and DIRT". Is there something wrong with the scenario? I tried to download the Mac version but it didn't work. I don't know why. Can someone make a Mac Stuffit Expander version for me that doesn't say cgi. or something because I couldn't seem to load it properly? I really want to finish this scenario but I'm getting very frustrated. Also I notied that when I load my party in the scenario, it gives me an error message saying it failed to load a graphic. I stupidly figured I could try to run the Windows version so I think that's the reason the scenario is buggy for me. Thanks for everyones help! I just reached Alora fort and have come to the lazer puzzle after beating people up along the way. I don't know where to put the mirrors to break the door open. I tried to use the walkthrough and the files included in the folder but the numbers are too confusing. For example it says to move the mirrior to (20,29) I don't understand how to do that. I can't draw a grid to help me out so I just want straight answers. You can go into the character editor and raise your spell stats to level 3 or you can go Gale and learn it there. How to get more gold in The Avernum Trilogy

It's a shame how you can't train in some skills like vantahni but you can train in barter. I also use the character editor to give my self the best stuff because some of the stuff is too hard or to o confusing or I'm lazy and I don't feel like looking. Can anyone tell me what some of the best stuff is because I never know if it's really the best stuff. After golems question in The Avernum Trilogy

Althogh I did get the boon from Erika. Ah... I'll just go without it this time. I never needed it last time I played but I sure would like to know if I defeated the golems wrong because I didn't use the mirriors or something I missed because I followed the hint book exactly until it came to pushing the mirriors around. I got the first mirrior right but the second one I couldn't figure out so I just used Divine Retribution to stop the golems. Was that so wrong or did the hint book have a typo or something? Now I went and talked to Anixminder, Brra and Anixminder again, went to the Vahntani place and ten to New Cotra and when I talked to the wizard the option to say that the Vantanhni are responsible for the plagues is not there. Avernum 3 Time in The Avernum Trilogy
ginger8445 Warrior Member # 7125	written Wednesday, August 22 2007 03:25 Profile #4 Here is all the time based events that I know. Plauges- Slimes and the roaches are the most important. Slimes-Destroy Clochis and Kirzan if not compleated within probably 40 days. Roaches-Destroy Shayder,Hecter if not compleated Trogdlytes-Not really important but the destroy towns near them if not stopped. Though you need to destroy a barrier to let the war between the trogdlytes and giants continue, the trogdlytes don’t have the map. The giants do. Giants-Destroy Appleton and other cities around the area. They have the Barrier map that you need to destroy for the war between the trogdlytes and giants continue Goelms- not important to finish A3 but the have alot of goods that you can sell and they have some crystals that you will recieve as a reward and this leads you to the conclusion that the vantahni are responsible for the plagues of monsters. Side quests Orb of Thralni- When you reach day 110 or you defeat either the trogdlytes and giants or the roaches, the orb of tharlini will be stolen. When you get it back you can keep it to reach all the high areas in the game that you can’t reach without it. Tower of Magi- around day 160 the tower of Magi is taken over by demons. If you don’t stop this the tower will be destroyed but Solberg and X will be in Fort Emergence. Dealing with the dragons- If you have trouble with the aliean beasts the dragons can help. They will make a special weapon for you to deal with them. BUT I think you have to know who is reponsible for the plagues. But if you want you can go into the character editor and set the day back to day two. It will still say tha you destroyed the plagues that you have already destroyed, but you will technically have more time to compleate the biggest event which is the Tower of Magi being taken over. Now I talked to everyone I was supposed to talk to and I stole the candlestick from the house back in Mertis. The general at the madhouse said he'll let me know when he needs me and now I'm snooping around. Many of the doors are locked and if I get seen breaking in I will get caught. Is the point to now break into every room and get caught in the process (I can't help that) and try to find the skibborine? A Visit to the Madhouse scenario question?!?!?! in Blades of Avernum

I was told by Scab that there are people somwhere in the Honycomb who want to hire me and I can't find them. There was one guy at the Madhouse but the only thing I could do was kill him. I used Far Sight at lvl 3 in the madhouse and it uncovered secret passageways into the madhouse. They don't need Move Mountains at lvl 3 to destroy them because I tried that and it said "you failed to destroy anything". So where are the people I'm supposed to meet? I can't find them anywhere. Does the game completely end in Avernum 3 in The Avernum Trilogy

The only thing is that the scenario folder can't hold more than thiry scenarios which includes the tutorial but it isn't in the enter sceneario list.
