According to this FAQ (written by Schrodinger?) Learned Darian offers you a chance to switch to the rebels on Gull island.

And make sure that the identity of the custom graphics in the .meg file is 1, not 128. That's tripped me up a lot.

stu_pidd_cow, the editor is filled with so many bugs that it makes the Guiness World record for flies killed in twenty minutes look pathetic. There's two(3?) whole articles at the Lyceum describing what's wrong with it.

From what I heard from the Web, it's supposed to be about how technology almost destroyed us as a race.

However, the director seems to have a particuar affinity for millineums-too-long scenes with bizarre sound effects and modern art.

Dan Brown only knows how to write four characters- the intelligent heroine, the humble hero, the hired assassain, and the oh-dear-you'd-never-expect-them-to-be-a-traitor traitor. Seriously. In every stinking book, that's it (haven't read Deception Point).

That said, Da Vinci Code is exciting if poorly researched.

I doubt the Communist utopia is likely, but I still have enough shreds of optimism left to doubt the Big Brother vision.

Given that there would have to be one heck of a bug to knock out all technology everywhere, I think I'll go with the 2001: A Space Odyssey vision. (Did anyone else not get that movie at all?)

Perhaps there could be "moderate" conversation option? Essentially the same as just ending the conversation, but makes sense in a roleplaying context.

I decided to kill both Rahul and Akhari, since both are completely crazy with power. Sadly, Akhari's summoned creatures don't do enough damage to actually kill him, so it didn't work out. But no-canisters rebel is pretty virtuous in my opinion.

This indeed would be wonderful. However, Jeff Vogel has decided that Blades of Exile is now at the point where he's declared it to be a dead game, but he's still hoping someone, somewhere will buy it.

Therefore, he won't fix it at all but still refuses to let out the source code so that we can fix it. It's not a good situation.

It happens. DNA in ancient rocks. You want to wonder about why it happens, that's fine with me. The article voices several explanations. More could likely be found through a Google search. But it happens.

This would likely explain away your queries much better than I can.

Search "billion-year old rocks" and you'll get many, many hits.
