I like the sound of this contest. I might even be tempted to compete if it went ahead. Just one thing, is it possible for multiple entries? -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Also for nephils: Bat wings (From New Cotra-A3) I don't know if this is related but I seem to remember that Brett had a list of possible buildings/shops that would be in Cities. It was made for BOE but it could easily work with BOA. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

I believe oxide and monoxide mean the same thing because mono means 'one'. EDIT: Damn, Demonslayer beat me to it. Oh, now I see it. It's actually quite convincing. My instincts for bullsh!t were right the first time. The only question is who is the character behind this prank. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

It's hard to understand what you are asking. But I'll try and help. Instructions: There is a part on the Character Editor in the help section of the game. On Items: If you have the registered version it's fairly easy to add items to your party but even if your not registered you can use the 'Advanced" part of the editor and add items that way. For the item numbers to use this, you can see them by opening up the Scenario Editor and see the list there. I believe that there is also list complied in the BOA Cookbook of which a link can be found somewhere around here. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

My name is basically my nickname. Every since I was little if there was more than one Ashleigh (Or similar spelling) around, I was regulated to Ashleigh Miller. This trend continued into high school where I soon lost my first name and became Miller which was corrupted into Milla. -------------------- "He's mine, go get your own human plaything!" Thuryl, he's right. I had the same experience when I played ASR. The apple pie is a stackable object that doesn't do anything. Eg like the broom and gameboard. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

And there was that tower which had the friendly monsters except I kept shouting at them for ages and they still didn't open the gates so I just walked around the tower and left on the other side. And the monty haul! Corpses have on average 500 gold and the sheer number of artifacts lying around. And the 'reward' chest had everything except an emerald as 'not yours'. Pheh! But I did like the fact that the special sword was destroyed just before you left the senario. It was good becuase it meant it wouldn't unbalance the other games. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

I found this amusing little thing on another forum and decided to share with you. How Many Forum Uses does it take to change a Lightbulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 5 to flame the spell checkers 9 to correct spelling/grammar flames 6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp" 15 know-it-alls who claim *they* were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct 8 to email the participant's ISPs complaining that they are in violation of their "acceptable use policy" 109 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum 203 to demand that cross posting to hardware forum, off-topic forum, and lightbulb forum about changing light bulbs be stopped 111 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts *are* relevant to this forum 306 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty 27 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs 14 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group 33 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too" 12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy 19 to quote the "Me too's" to say "Me three" 4 to suggest that posters request the light bulb FAQ 44 to ask what is a "FAQ" 4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?" 143 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs" 1 to say that last time she got a new lightbulb she bought a nice picture frame too 7 to then have conversations about picture frames 12 to point out that the thread is not about picture frames 2 to tell those twelve to lighten up 6 deleted posts that no one ever explains 5 to say that long-life bulbs last longer 10 to reply that they are more expensive too 3 to complain someone told what happened when the light bulb was replaced without including spoiler space 2 posts that may or may not be on-topic, but are in txt-spk so no one really knows. 1 to point out how retro and oldschool they are by discussing how they once saw a similar thread back in '94 before most people had a computer. and... 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again [ Friday, March 25, 2005 21:07: Message edited by: Milla ] -------------------- "He's mine, go get your own human plaything!" I was checking out the G3 screenshots (again, since there's nothing else to do before the game comes out) when I noticed the guardian graphic in several of the screens looked distinctly female. Perhaps this means a choice for a male or female guardian at last. -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

I find it strange that Spiderweb Software still hasn't put a G3 forum yet BOA and G2 both had a forum months before being release. The lack of a G3F is even more bizaare when the Mac Version is supposed to be released around this time. So will a G3 forum be made soon? -------------------- Milla-Displacer Beastie This is also a good site Posts: 650 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |
