I agree with Nioca here, as I too thought that the "what do you hate" thread could have been a conversation-worthy thread. Not to mention that I had contemplated on starting such a threadonly two days ago. I eventually didn't start it, as I knew people were gonna say "I hate you" or something like that, and I wasn't in the mood for it.

So, right now I'm thinking which board should be blown up when I finally get round to make that nitroclycerine (believe me, I can actually make it. The store to buy these things isn't very far away), which member should be killed first, and if my PC finally deserves it too be thrown down of a twenty-story building.

I recommend looking at this abandoneware site:

Mac garden

Here is where I got the flight simulators I played when i was seven years old, maybe you can find something nice too.

Also, is it RPG's you really want, or does adventure suit you too? If so, I can recommand Dark castle. To play it you can download mini vmac. If you are interested, PM me, and I'll give you the details.

Go to my website and download WtRM again. I heard about this bug before, and I fixed it already. I told the one that asked me about this a while ago that he should download the version on my website again and try it with that version, and it worked out for him.

You could then try and see if your save file will still work and walk past the guards. If the save file doesn't work, then you'll have to play it all again, I'm afraid...

No, you're not quite old enough yet to be a semi-oldbie, so you're a midbie.

Dikiyoba.

I chose nothingbie because I found it a bit more original.

Salmon: "bi" was not actually what I meant, as I was thinking in Dutch terms, were "i" is pronounced as in "bee," rather than as in "pie." You understood what I meant anyhow (I assume), though.

I'm a scenario designer, but somehow I doubt that my scenarios will be thought of as one the good ones and will always be remembered. But then again, what exactly do I make the scenarios for, for my enjoyment, or the community? Mainly the first one, less the latter one. Though it would feel good :P On the other hand, they could also be remembered like Exodus and Bahssikava, though I don't know for sure if I want my scenario to be remembered like that, as from what I have heard, people weren't very enthusiastic.

So yeah, I'm not completely unknown, and I'm talked about whenever Salmon decides to quote me, it seems.

EDIT: By the way, why is any word that ends with "bie" not pronounced as "pie," rather as "bi?" I would expect "bee."

In what castle are you looking? A ruined one? In that case, you are still very far of finding her. You are looking at the wrong castle.

I wasn't very clear about that in the walkthrough, was I. I'll change it.

And don't forget to rate WtRM when you're finished :) [/shameless plug]

In theory, one could actually make an SDF for creation energy, give the player a list of available creations to create with editional creations to be learned while playing the scenario, and that way the player could make creations. The fancy stuff that comes with it (the sounds and special effects) can be quite easily made, i think. I do think the creations will have to have a specific script that is tied to them, throughw hich one can enable a function that will make the player's ernergy SDF higher upon creation death.

Getting the exact graphics from Geneforge shouldn't be a problem, as it has been done quite frequently. I don't see a problem, and I might even try it in one of my still-to-be-made scenarios.

This seems to be a common theme amongst forum denizens. Why on earth does the venue matter? A person's morals stay the same regardless of fear of exposure. If you are implying that the internet allows you the freedom to be the person you are, then so be it. I would hesitate, however, to be your friend if your primary reason for polite behaviour was not a sincere desire to be polite, but instead a compulsion to follow societal norms without regard for your inner being.

*Sigh*

let me get some things straight here. A person can act on the internet as he is or not. What he is people will never really know untill they see him in real life. Only then, in my opinion, one can judge a person. Of course you can judge a person without ever have seen him, but it's not a very reliable judgement, won't you think? I might act totally differently in real life, I might not. generally I act here as I would act in real life. That means I am polite most of the time, but when i get irritated enough I will stop being polite.

That's that, now back to what I said and meant. I fear you might have understood me wrong. I wasn't implying that i don't care about whatever I say. People here have just the same amount of feelings as my friends at school (or maybe not, I can't see you, don't know you), so I don't see a reason to provoke people unnecesarily. What I am saying, is that i don't really care about people saying lol all the time, for example. That is, as long as it stays a joke, like with Kelandon's lol post.

To make a long story short: As long as it's not getting to a state in which people start provoking each other, I don't really care about this trivial stuff (like the "lol" saying. I hate the word, but I won't start a war over it). In real life I probably act as i act on the internet, which means I am as polite here as I would be in real life. I don't see a need not to be polite, except when somebody provokes me and gets me irritated or angered. I also don't see a reason to follow the internet heard (if that's the right spelling).

If you would like to continue this discussion, Salmon, shall we do it with PM or AIM then?
