In Which I am Bothered by the Whole Insanity Deal in General

Yeah, well, what can I say. You have insane people, and you have insane people, the latter being what you refer too. As already has been said, and I will now say it again (just because), the former "insane" is just a sin "not totally normal, but not completely deranged." Think of thew saying "you are insane." Does that mean that person is insane? No, generally not. That person is completely normal, he is only doing something that makes him insane because of that. Now be straight with me: although it doesn't count as insane, me sayign that we are all ruled by the Almight Chicken Gods isn't completely normal, now is it.

Umhmmm. I bet he is seeing this and laughing at us right now. I would, at any rate.

I'm amazed by the amount of people playing Battlefron 2. What is it, is everybody suddenly a Star Wars fan or what?

It depends what you mean: do you mean games that I just play a lot at the moment, or games I used to play a lot be of general laziness I stopped with them for now?

Anyway:

Games I play a lot now because I like them: Prey, Return to castle Wolfenstein

Games I really like in general (pretty much all games I have): Prey, retrun to castle wolfenstein, Flight Simulator X (and before that Flight Simulator 2004 and 98), Star Wars Battlefront II, Battlefield 2, Avernum 1, 2, 3 BoA, Dark Castle 1 and 2 (yeah, these black an white games from the late eighties).

I think that'd be it.

I like Shadowvale as much as I do, not because of Tyran and his beautifull body, but for the simple reason that it feels like freedom, while the SW boards, for a great part, feels like a prison, in which every form of good humor is smothered to death (of course this is a personal thing. At least the debates aren't as useless as here)

Pretty late now, I assume, but anyway: happy birthday IFM. If it's up to me, everybody is welcome, unless he'she proves to be a total moron. I don't think you are, so I say welcome, join the club. Though, if this is the only place you seek acceptance, I say get away from that computer and get some real friends, not virtual ones.

I'm sorry, i didn't see that sentence.

The Empire HQ, after it is destroyed, indeed can cause your party some problems, as some unfriendly undead are roaming around.

"I stuck in the waterfall town."

How did you get stuck?

Did you do what I told you to do? relaod a save file at a point before you started editing the location of your party?

I can't see any other reason than that for these bugs to suddenly appear, when nobody else had them previously.

Also, would you mind rating it on the Lyceum boards? i would be very gratefull.

Where are you exactly, or are you trying to make a potion with the herbs you got? If the answer is *yes* to the last question, then I think you will have to start with a former save file, from before you used the editor to edit your party behind the gates. First try that, if it doesn't work, come back and we'll see what we can do.

I thought the walkthrough was clear enough about this, but anyways...

*SPOILERS*

Herb patch 1

The first potion can be made with the herbs you find in a small looks-like-it's-made-of-stone box. In that room there are two (or three, I don't remember it very well) of these boxes, one with the herbs. You get to this room by (assuming you are standing at the big stairs with ruble and rocks in front of them and a magic barrier) going west en going into the corridor that goes north. at the end, before the corridor turns east, there is a door. Directly opposite this door is the room with the boxes.

Herb patch 2 and 3

Both can be found in the second cavetown, after exiting Thralni's laboratories (the first one had the glowing gates). To find the first herb patch follow the road, and go into a small tunnel filled with fire lizards. Find the mushrooms and step on them

The second patch in this town can be found by going back on the road, all the way north (where the road turns west), and taking the narow tunnel east. You will come at a place with some nests. Kill the lizards there. Now take the first passage you encounter north, slay the hydra and lizards, and take the first passage you encounter to the west. Watch out for the basilisks! Follow the tunnel and find the big muhrooms, step on them.

If you have done what i said, you found all three ingredients, so you can make three potions, which you will all need at a certain time.

And editing probably was a big mistake...

Was it the first set of barriers (out of Thralni's laboratories), or the second set (at the Senarti town)? If it was the first, you must get the save file before you edited, as vital SDFs are bound to that set of gates. Not blowing them up will prove to be a major mistake...

I will look into the problem you had with the levers. I'll test it out again (someday) and see if it's indeed incorrect what I wrote.

Because of some strange coincidence, one of my teacher told me about it just yesterday. Maybe you are my teacher? Are you male? Do you come from Holland and do you teach on a school calld the "Stedelijk Gymnasium leiden"? If so, you have a very good chance of being meneer Robbers.

EDIT: Typo; Thanks Nioca :P

"selfless, enlightened despot" is a very nice way of being... well... stupid.

But seriously, just so you know, I don't hate you. I'm feeling sadistic at the moment.

Tullegolar: So if I understand you corectly, you are stupid evil, Ed is stupid evil, and he rest are in the other two categories?

And no, just so you know, I don't belong at stupid evil. That would mean I am stupid, which I am not. Strange and excentric, maybe, but not stupid.
