Bringing up Ahmadinejad's vicious statements is a good point. Partly because of that, partly because I am supposedly impartial, and partly because I simply am not interested, I don't think I'll be participating much more in this thread. Drakefyre, I honestly don't try. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

quote:Of course, when you read these words, you must keep in mind that if Israel were invaded quite a few people would be crying for the "poor Israelis", and Thralni would be one of them. Israel is as much of a threat to its numerous enemies as Iran is to Israel. Supporting Israel but not Iran on the grounds that attacking Iran "averts a threat" requires that you select, without any evidence, Israel, as the just and moral entity in such a conflict. The USA constantly warns/threatens Iran about its nuclear program, which is not expressly a nuclear weapons program. The USA claims that Iran is evil and intends to develop nuclear weapons. However, there is a suspicious lack of evidence, much as there is now that Iraq had WMDs. Whether Iran is guilty or innocent of its accused crimes, I have not decided. I have not picked a side in this; I require actual evidence. Until then, I will strongly support impartiality. I had SpyQuake on my computer, or something like it. If you're seeing any unusual popups, don't click anywhere near them. Don't accept offers from the popups to remove the virus or perform scans, and don't download any "antivirus" programs without checking them on reputable sites. I became so paranoid, I scanned my computer with Ad-Aware, then Windows Defender, then Spybot. The problems went away, although the SpyQuake folder was left behind. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Actually, the address is the same as always. My folder was just deleted, I think, at random. ;) If you really want to see them, they're still in Google's cache. Which means that you can go to Google's website, do an image search for "rakshasi", and then scroll down to the bottom. A line of text should say something like, "View search results without omissions". Click on that. Then you'll be able to see smaller pictures of all of my graphics. If you really like any of them, you can just tell me the file name or give me a brief description. I can then e-mail them to you. But I guess I should get around to submitting my originals to the Lourve. So the samurai and necromancer should soon be found there. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

"It's not great, but it does the job. I think. I am not skilled with Latin." "Res non optimus, sed officium* facit. fortasse/credo. ego sum non certus* quod ego lingua Latina non comprehendo." * = this word is not in my vocabulary. I used the linked translator to find a word which I hoped would fit. I also changed a clause at the end for my convenience. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Jeff Vogel still has a paper copy of the A3 SDF list. If he still has that one, you may as well try to ask him for the A2 one. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

8/18 isn't so bad. Let's see... Q1: Sure, I make pointless posts. Q2: I remember those graphics I made, some of them were borderline infringements of various rules (and laws!). Q3: I'm sure I've used swear-words in my posts. Q4: Probably took part in one of the public trials of members (I'm thinking of Ed, but I can't remember if I actually did anything there). Q10: I'm sure I've insulted people before. Q11: I've made racist jokes on these boards. Q12: I know I was involved in the Ashby Affair, which I'm sure counts for something towards "impersonation". Q13: I mentioned in a previous thread that I'd been arrested. I suppose that's shaky ground, but I wanted to rack up as many of these as I could. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Make sure to not confuse your children with books, though. Also, "veritas vos liberabit" means "the truth will set you free". "Vos" means "you (plural)". EDIT: And I completely forgot all that talk about the conspiracy. I think it's enough to say we have quite a few polar bears at our disposal. And on Wednesdays, we talk and have muffins. Sometimes we play Musical Chairs. [ Tuesday, January 16, 2007 15:02: Message edited by: Kuber ] -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Although starting a new thread is a great idea from a safety-minded point of view, I'm rather inclined to dare fate. I'm determined that this thread should continue for another two pages or should die trying; and if no one else will join me, so be it. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

quote:I checked again, and it's true that the script isn't much larger than basicnpc. quote:I guessed that. I brought this up because I was worried judges might see only the merits of elitenpc, when in practical use the script's power is severely decreased. I'm glad I didn't (apparently) come off too rude. PS (literally): I read through the list of changes at the bottom of the script, and I've got to say the revamped targeting system is a big selling point which I hadn't noticed before. Forget what I said about the limited uses of the script. [ Sunday, January 14, 2007 10:54: Message edited by: Kuber ] -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |
