Heh.

Well, Marlenny is French, isn't she? If so, that kind of explains everything. :P

You two just couldn't let it go. Seriously, correcting my typos is a full time job with no pay. I thought you all had given up

Edit: French? Me?

I am hurted that you killed me. I mean, I just asked if there was a point to my character, I didn't request for it to be killed. Poor script Marlenny. And not even a proper goodbye, no one even noticed. It's so sad, and then Kel almost dying. I just can't type anymore

You could try to it for yourself personally. However, as Aran said, there is a big chance you will give up throughout the way. I do know some people, such as my best friends, who would play the game if it were translated into Spanish. I’d say if someone bothers to do a fairly good translation, then I don’t see why Jeff wouldn’t take time to publish it.

That makes absolutely no sense. I know UBB sucks, but please. I would've guessed your rating had something to do with you being pro-Bush, but I could be wrong :P

As per my own Karma, I know I had a one star last summer, and suddenly it went up to two and then four where it remains. I lately realized how I got one vote and my Karma stayed the same. And today I had yet another one, and it increased by .10 or something. I’m surprised that no one, but Ados apparently, has tried to make an experiment about Karma. I’m surprised Aran hasn’t made one.

Edit: to the post below:
If that were true, then how would you get a rating in the first place?

Awesome Job Dikiyoba. I have a couple of questions though.
I didn't mind not being in the script, but now that you have included me what's up with my character? I came up out of nowhere, said "Look Out, I'm fine" and then disappeared into nowhere. Am I still alive? and if so wheretf am I?. Is there a purpose for my existence?

Edit: Ok, so I re-read the whole thing. I'm a flamer?

What's your dialect? in General

My English is for the most part Okay, but sometimes I'm just totally incomprehensible (or so I’ve been told :P ), especially when I'm too excited or nervous about something. Therefore, I'm trying to answer the questions as correctly as possible. However, I'm sure I pronounce things more screwed up than I actually think. So those of you that have spoken to me, feel free to correct me.

Rhyme: trap, bath (the vowels, anyway) YES
Rhyme: father, bother YES
Identical: cot, caught NO
Rhyme: foot, goose NO
Identical: Lennon, Lenin YES
Identical: pin, pen NO
Identical: line, loin NO
Identical: coil, curl NO
Final vowel of "happy" rhyme with vowel of "meet" YES

R madness:
Identical: father and farther. Um not sure, will go with YES
Identical: Mary, marry, merry YES
Rhyme: mirror, nearer NO
Rhyme: fern, fir, fur YES?
Identical: horse, hoarse YES, though I don't recall ever saying "Hoarse"

L madness
Rhyme: salary, celery NO
Identical: fill, feel YES
Identical: fell, fail NO
Identical: full, fool PROBABLY

Consonants
Same middle consonant: Singer, finger NO
Identical: Heat, eat NO
Identical: Should've, should of (if you were to say "should of") YES
Identical: Wait, weight YES
Identical: Wine, whine NO

Btw, I'm not sure if it fits here, but for the longest time I used to say "Sheck" instead of "Check". This used to annoy the crap out of my co-worker whose name was “Richie” and whom I called “Rishie”. It took me weeks to figure it out, so now every time I say "Check", I have to say the word first in my head, just to double check :P

As shown in my signature, the quote was originally written by John/Sarachim. The lovely "Use the third person" part was added by Slarty.

As per the comic, It was hilarious. Someone has to show Thad that nothing good can come from posting all those logs :P

I may not be really good at English, but I can understand third person easily. What I don't understand is the need for using it. I think Dikiyoba is cool, I like his posts, and his scripts are funny. If he or anyone else want to use the third person thing is none of my business and they are more than welcome to do so. I was just expressing my feelings towards it.

Right! How do you know Italian?

1) I know spanish and since it's very similar, I can just tell some of the words by just looking at it.
2) I've always liked Italian so I decided to take Italian classes in college. So far I'm doing well on them

If it is for the sake of AIM Triton users then why won't the link work for us?

Slarty, you know that I'm not interested in you being my boytoy; I already have my own. I just think that it would be benefitial to the community if the third person thing would end with Dikiyoba (bs, I just hate it).
Ps. Alex, I swear I didn't notice it until you mentioned it.

Marl, you of all people should understand the point of this. In the past you've complained that small chats are too boring and have told me to "say something!" The random chats tend to have 5 or 6 people, most of whom say nothing, and most of the time conversation is sparse. The scheduled chats have had as many as 25 or so different people, up to 17 at one time, and are engaging and funny.

There are people who like the chats, but don't want to sit around on AIM waiting for them to happen, or who can't do it every night. This is a service for them. So hush up. Nobody's saying you can't make a random chat if you want. Nobody's forcing anyone to attend the scheduled chats.

Oh, and you can stop spamming cause you won't catch me no matter how hard you try ;)

I resent the fact that you would even suggest that my post was a spam. I am hurt by the idea that you would think of me as a spammer :P . Anyhow, I'm not saying that we should do a chat every single night. However, you must agree that it would be very hard to schedule chats at times where everyone is available. So leaving the window open would let everyone be a part of wherever chat is going on, and it would work around everyone’s schedule. Besides it’s not like General chats are so important that they must be schedule, it’s just us talking about perverted things that would make no sense outside the chat. And if leaving a window open 24/7 would stop people from posting the logs………
Now, I also can see your point in that if you schedule the chat then everyone would make an effort to show up, we would have more people. Thus the chat would be more interesting, which the random chats are not. I guess it depends on what the majority of people would agree upon. I just happen to be open to suggestions and happen to agree with both sides.
Oh, and I'm not trying to catch you, your spamming abilities are above my reach :P

EDIT: Forget everything I said. I just had the most pathetic invite with only Alex in the chat room. THE CHAT WINDOW OPEN THING MUST STOP

Important conferences are scheduled because members need to attend. They are logged because members who weren't there need to know what was said. This goes for the blades chats, which are about actual topics.

The general chats are pure conversation and gossip. I say, have these chats, and log them if you want, but for heaven's sake stop scheduling them.

"On March 13 2006, between 0100 and 0400 GMT, the members of Spiderweb will convene in an AIM chatroom to discuss... uh... stuff."

And if you think you need to schedule them so more people can attend, then at least refrain from trying to eliminate random chats. The way to have random conversation is randomly - just keep the window open when you're online, and wait for other people to come in.
