I assume you mean the script that is saved as z2southenddlg.txt I just loaded it, and I don't know where you are supposed to go to access the editor. I'm certain I have used this one before, so I'll work with it a bit more. In the mean time try this editor. It was just released, but seems to work very well. I'll let you know about the other one in a while. If you use the one I linked to you might want to only use the z2southenddlg.txt since that is the item/stats editor. Edit: Ha!, Burk the servile near the entrance of the school is the editor. I had to go through the script to figure that out. Yeah, use the editor I linked to instead, as it is complete. Thank you Zeviz, I'll go through it now and PM as soon as I can. Edit: I have to organize everything, and have a two-year-old visiting, so give me a day or two to get everything in order. I would keep the original check for $50,000. Why: Being that the first check is a substantial amount of money I see no need to risk what may be in the mystery envelope. What besides curiosity or desire would make it necessary to risk losing all. That's not to say I don't take risks, but this particular case seems unnecessary. Press the keys Shift D and type sdf 79 4 0 It won't work if you are in Icy End when you type the code, so try it while in a different area. Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

My candidacy is being debated on the same level as the men. I have no need to try to win favors or votes by questionable means, and hope that my fellow forum members are aware of that. I am honest and forthcoming with my intents as moderator, and am very capable of earning votes for being adequate for the job. How could I expect to be respected by the male members if I employed such tactics? I am saddened that that was misunderstood, but as I explain (and Ben confirmed) that it was not meant to go that way. Such a thing would have come up regardless of the elections, and had absolutely nothing to do with it. Please consider my daily interactions as an accurate judge of character rather than a single incident. You will see very similar answers to all of these types of questions due to the fact that how a situation is handled should always go back to the Code of Conduct. Our opinions may vary slightly as to what is too lax and what is too controlling, but in the end if the candidate looks to the Code of Conduct for the final decisions the answers will be similar. Assuming a RP remains a RP it should be left to run its course. If the RP starts going in the direction of spam or arguments a warning should be given about the possibility of the topic being locked. If the spam or arguments continue or escalate the topic should be locked. Similarly political debates are a part of Spiderweb and should be left alone as long as the discussion is peaceful. If the debate becomes spam or constant insults a warning should be given, and if the behavior continues the topic should be locked. Oldbies should be granted certain considerations due to their contribution to the community, but that is not a complete exemption for the Code of Conduct. A moderator's job is to uphold the Code of Conduct to the extent necessary. Very minor infractions and playfulness can often be overlooked, but more severe infractions should be reported to the Admins to handled as they see fit. -------------------- Nena Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

Type the keys Shift and D: forgiveme or pleaselikeme The killing of major characters cannot be forgiven, so you would have to reload a save file in that case. Edit: Actually it is okay to kill that Drakon. Icy End goes hostile when you destroy his brood. I am equally present in General as I am in Geneforge 3. The helpfulness I show there is merely a demonstration of my ability and desire to help others. Such skills can easily be adapted to the needs of the General forum. As often as I am here I would be of better service to General, as there is much greater traffic here than in Geneforge 3. I only want to help the community in any way I can, so if it is determined that another candidate is better suited to General I would gladly accept a position in Geneforge 3. -------------------- Nena Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

Please note that the examples given were extreme circumstances rather than the average posts. Also note I was the first to respond. 1. Topic: "Full vershin keys" First post: "Hello Hay i wus wonderin if enybodie wus willen to tell me there key to get into full vershin" Please do not ask for pirated software on the company site. *Requesting free registration codes does unfortunately merit a ban, as said by Drakey; Therefore the topic would be locked and the incident would be reported* ----------------------------------------------- 2. Topic: "Your gift or talent" One of the posts: "You do realize that your skin color and genitalia (shriveled though they be) are more important in the long run, right? But hey, who am I to stick the dong of communism into your wet dream of meritocracy." TM, please be considerate of the other members. *After a couple warnings Drakey would be informed* --------------------------------------------------- 3. Topic: "Post A Compliment to The Poster Above U" First post: "..." Posting games are bad. *These are often locked* Edit: Elaborated. Rather than telling you why my fellow candidates would be inadequate as moderators I would like to tell you my qualifications. Though I am a newer member I am an active member of the community, as my post count reflects. I am currently a part-time student, so I am able to be here a good portion of the day. I am often here when there are no moderators present, and would be able to offer quick assistance if need be. I refer you to the Geneforge 3 forum as an example of my quick action and assistance to others. I am often the first one to answer most questions, and am always willing to go to great lengths to find the needed information. I am patient and understating with the needs of newer members, and consistently answer their question kindly and with consideration. I am new enough to not have longstanding problems or bias for any member, and I am active enough to be familiar with the community. I would be a fair and impartial moderator, and would base my actions on the Code of Conduct rather than favoritism. My average behavior shows my understanding of the Code of Conduct and an awareness of the community's standards. The bulk of my posts are relevant to their respective topics and I do not participate in spam for the most part. My goal as moderator is to offer the older members the freedom and comfort they are accustom to, while making this a safe environment for the younger and newer members. Fun and games aside, I will mellow out. The spam and post count is too intense, and as Alo said the content is probably not good. I hope no one was offended by the insanity. Edit: Hey, thanks.
