Well, yeah. But discount rates also result in an unbelievable rate for Joe Schmoe. For instance, we have an inordinately large number of people with middle class incomes who lead upper class lifestyles with the caveat of placing themselves utterly and irredemably in debt. The crazy-high debt on our account books will result in our selling assets within the near future, including golf courses, slaves, and California.

And it all started with a simple purchase of a shareware game...

It doesn't have a vogelcanon name, but it's far more commonly Solaria than imperia (which has yet to be used).

The capital city is Solaria, which is FAR more widely used than Alec's name. (Which only he uses.)

Don't bother- I have so many ultra-important bug fixes that v1.0.4 will happen very quickly. But as for your save file...

Let yourself get beaten up a LOT so that you have less than 500 HP or so. When your HP gets low enough, you should be able to move on.

Don't play this game. No Access, Locked, non-admin accounts having No Access. (That means you can't even COPY the script.) Point is, I can win the being-an-******* game.

And honestly, I think some scenarios need to be hard. Some scenarios need to bring out the best aspects of combat and not have it be spoiled by neophytes. Some scenarios should be achievements.

I probably won't make higher-level parties mandatory, but I am most definitely considering locking the text files and including a level uphike for enemies when a given party is massively above the level intended. Since most of the challenges are script-based, this should not be a problem.

I've been reading and re-reading reviews of Canopy, and a thought occured to me. But before I verify this, I'll hazard a poll here to get some results.

Suffice it to say that regardless, I will be barring players from taking significantly overpowered parties into future scenarios (and Canopy v2.0).

Jeff could EASILY make a game just as struggling and rewarding as something by Intelligent Systems if he wanted to- it would still be turn-based, same plot, same everything EXCEPT it'd have FE gameplay.
