I don't like Valentines Day. I agree that it's over-commercialized. I'm also not too big on that sort of relationship. Fortunately, I am not likely to be asked by anyone that I know in real life to be their valentine as I am the adopted little sister of all of my friends.

It started snowing here yesterday afternoon and finished at about 8:30 this morning. We have about 2 feet of it. The power went out this morning because of it.

Kind of late because I've been away for a few days here, but I look 12 in that picture because I probably was when it was taken. Also,I'm not posting a more recent one as all the ones I can find are from this summer when my sisters forced me to put on a dress and let them take pictures of me. I still get nightmares.

So far, I have one person who speaks. After a few different dialouge screens, you can only see what you say, not what he says. BoA says that line 38 is missing a semicolon, but I checked and it's not.

I gave my party a quest that is completed through going to another place in town and answering 'yes' to a special encounter(the quest doesn't give experience, it's just to advance the plot). When you answer yes, you are told by the special encounter to go to your house and go to sleep. If the party answers no, the special encounter is just go away. However, whenever the party activates the special encounter, no matter what it answers, it repeats the question and when the party answers again, the special encounter goes away.

beginstate 10;
reset_dialog ();
add_dialog_str (0, "text", 0);
add_dialog_str (1, "text", 1);
add_dialog_choice (0, "Yes");
add_dialog_choice (1, "No");
choice = run_dialog(0);
if (run_dialog(0) ==1) {
set_flag (0, 1, 1);
set_state_continue(11);
}
break;

beginstate 11;
reset_dialog ();
add_dialog_str (0, "text", 0);
break;

I was playing your scenario and when I tried to enter Fahrango, the BOA screen turned black. I went to the main menu and tried to reload it, but it was still black. I used the character editor to first try to get out of the town, and then out of the scenario, but both times when I loaded the party, it was still in the blackness. I made another party and saved it over that party(same name) and when I loaded that one, even when it had ben in a different scenario,it was in Magus of Cattalon in the blackness. I couldn't use a party with that name until I manually trashed the original party.

Romeo and Juliet. Thoughts? in General
Lifecrafter

To be honest, I actually prefer some of Shakespeares other plays even though this is the most famous one but it has some great moments in it that leave you very frustrated. For example, it was complete chance that the priest (or messenger?? I can't remember) missed Romeo coming the other way and wasn't able to deliver the message that Juliet wasn't really dead. If I recall in the original movie, the priest was doing his business on the side of the road when Romeo galloped past on his horse....lol [Big Grin]

Actually, in the play, the other friar said there was a plague in Mantua that everyone was afraid of and they wouldn't go. Friar Laurence had planned to hide Juliet in his cell until he could contact Romeo.

I have read other Shakespeare plays and I have found that my favorites are invariably the ones about people who go insane and end up dying(yeah, I have weird taste). I don't believe in love at first sight. I believe in infatuation that may or may not turn into love as the two people get to know each other. It's also not usually a good idea to kill yourself over someone you've only known for a week. I really think this could have been a good story, but it was finished too soon, before it was really worked out.

My English class has just finished reading Romeo and Juliet and all I can say is I think they're impatient, melo-dramatic kids with nothing to do. This probably has something to do with the fact that I don't believe in love at first sight and that I'd much prefer to fight people than fall in love. For me, the high points of the play were the fight scenes. What are your opinions on this piece of literature?

Oh, and before people ask, I have read the play before, I have seen it performed on stage and seen one of the movies(not the newest one, the one before, I think).
