Today's bit of weirdness comes from Frappr, a new service that combines Google maps with Friends sites to build community maps (there's one for Spiderweb too, by the way).

It seems that the reputation of this site has spread even to Ermarian, and thence to the deeps of Bahssikava! For where else would these scaly fellows hail from? :)

Bewildering! That's the word I was looking for. But seriously, what the heck?!

They don't show any Spiderwebbers in Austrailia! I hope the sliths aren't Bush supporters. That would make them REALLY scary.

Is there some kind of hint that they might be (besides being located in Texas), or is it just random speculation? o_O

The barbarian sliths have a known penchant for worshipping demons...

—Alorael, who thinks Texas probably instigated that comment.

Actually, there were only three from Australia, but I added myself, so now it is four.

And Backwards Impaired. I didn't look closely enough at the Sydney marker, there were actually three.

Neither. I could only see Dallerdin.

So, at the time of posting, there is: Prem, Ash, The Stew Boy, Dallerdin, Backwards Imparied, Milla, and myself. 7.

The others apparently assumed you were talking about the Spiderweb group, not the Slithzerikai group.

I'd considered that, but
quote:

seemed to indicate that Spiderwebbers and Sliths were being referred to separately.

Well, either the sentence was ambiguously phrased, or Nicothodes somehow completely failed to notice half a dozen Australians on the list. It's a question of plausibility.

The map itself can be a little unpredictable when there are a lot of markers on one screen. It sometimes takes a while to update, probably depending on browser and connection speed...

Yeah, if you don't see any, wait for it to load.

There were four when I last checked. :P
