Today's bit of weirdness comes from Frappr, a new service that combines Google maps with Friends sites to build community maps (there's one for Spiderweb too, by the way). It seems that the reputation of this site has spread even to Ermarian, and thence to the deeps of Bahssikava! For where else would these scaly fellows hail from? :) -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. They don't show any Spiderwebbers in Austrailia! I hope the sliths aren't Bush supporters. That would make them REALLY scary. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies. The barbarian sliths have a known penchant for worshipping demons... —Alorael, who thinks Texas probably instigated that comment. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

I'd considered that, but quote:seemed to indicate that Spiderwebbers and Sliths were being referred to separately. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Well, either the sentence was ambiguously phrased, or Nicothodes somehow completely failed to notice half a dozen Australians on the list. It's a question of plausibility. The map itself can be a little unpredictable when there are a lot of markers on one screen. It sometimes takes a while to update, probably depending on browser and connection speed... -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Yeah, if you don't see any, wait for it to load. There were four when I last checked. :P -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
