Ephesos: You were only here for a few months when I started my moniker changing.

Synergy: A little of column A and a little of column B. If I need skribbane as a form of anger management rather than a form of recreation, I imbibe until I'm not angry or I'm not posting.

I'm always a little mad, though. It comes from the Spiderweb fee.

Ash: Not everyone can manage singletons, you know.

WM: SInce I used my signature when I was a newbie, it has nothing to do with oldbiehood. I just needed a gimmick to distinguish myself. Mind you, back in those days not everyone had a gimmick, and gimmicks weren't a dime a dozen. Oh, no. I had to spend 18 gruelling months earning my gimmick, and you'll never know how proud I was when I was certified and had my signature patented.

Really!

I know it's qualified, but still... it needed to be quoted.

And I guess I just wasn't paying attention when I first joined. Either that, or I just hadn't figured out who the major characters around here were. (I distinctly remember avoiding General out of fear for my sanity)

Yeah, Misc. took a bit of getting used to back in the day... then again, there were fewer people there and one could actually read all of the new posts and still have a life off the internet. Which wasn't always a good thing, of course.

Wisey, I know what you mean...

I'd argue that Dikiyoba is strange even for Spiderweb, but not really in a bad way. I mean, his gimmick is conspicuous, but it's not obnoxious. He's too restrained to be obnoxious.

Those who are not strange enough are fed to the pets.
Those who appear normal are most to be feared.
The deal with Alorael is that he is to be treated with extreme respect unless you want to be watching over your shoulder for the rest of your life.

Yes, but seeing someone boast about it is still funny.

For the record, I don't think I could ever beat A3 with a singleton. I'd die of boredom.

SupaNik: Aran, you're not big enough to threaten Ash. Dammit, even JV had to think twice.

Singleton, with all Advantages, and no disadvantages... have to love them. I don't play new SW games with anything but a singleton, it just seems to make it more fun, and not too much more challenging.

Except that it'd be useless, because a sniper can get you through the eye just as fine as through the back of your head. :)

And then there's the endless fun when you find your singleton saying such things as "Do you have any jobs for us to do?" :P

Yeah... Our pale-faced, ratty clothed, starving Avernite warrior is actually descended from some King Guy, and is using the royal we...

That's right Aran.

Edit: Wanted to make sure my patronising tone got through okay...

(Quick guys, distract him with a graph and we'll bungle him into a loony bin... On the count of three, okay?)

Even better... we'll trick him into making the graph himself!
