Master Xan-Yup, I was the only one who asked about programming.

Don't expect great things from me, though. ;)

No, you could still say I don't know the language though, just very basic parts of it e.g. int main(). :D

Er, maybe Motrax will find out that he actually does have a bunch of free time and decide to post here again. Maybe.

Motrax, do, and since I haven't said it yet, bye, if it's really necessary.

Parce que si les jeux ont été traduits dans le français, il ferait capable mieux voit que tout le texte signifie. En plus cela, Jeff pourrait vendre ses jeux à français-parler de pays (pas qu'il vraiment voudrait à, bien que).

Okay, let me rephrase that, as I can see now that my first post didnt' make much sense; the first word was supposed to be "Doesn't." And Gizmo, I think you were right (partly).

When you push the button to submit your review, doesn't it automatically add it to the list of reviews for that scenario on the site, or does Brett have to sort through them and put them on a certain times? Now, my guess now would be the latter.

Hope this cleared up confusion.

And fortunately for me, I didn't post one of those posts that started off with 7 quotes and stretched the page enough as it was. Not to mention page 4 and the code. ^_^

Yes. I went through the third page very quickly. tp, dr (too pointless, didn't read) Same thing with the fourth page. ^_^ Oh well, I'm not going to write a rant, but I say we should all vote on what RC's punishment should be.

Well, considering the fact that I didn't start here until June, I've never really participated in any RP (whether that is a good thing or not, I'll let you decide). I haven't yet brought myself to goint through VoT, so I guess I don't really plan to, anyway.

That said, I think we should make a new RP here and start it going. Then I could see what it's like, and then I'd have an idea on how RPing goes and therefore could develop an opinion on whether or not Spiderweb should have more RPs. But unfortunately, I for one am not that good at coming up with ideas. :(

Yes, RC did "lock" my topic---without Alorael's permission. I don't know if this one one of the tips in his list on how to get rid of a topic. Needless to say, there has, in my opinion, been way to much spam posted today.

Thanks for all your help, everyone, though I still can't figure out why that save file won't work, but it shouldn't really matter that much now. I'll just create my party like this:

1. Vandell. 24 HP, 5 edged, and a Bronze Knife. I'll skip the Chronic Disease for now, as it seems to me that it's just an excuse for you having to carry around some healing and curing potions to cure the poison.

Thanks again!

Okay, I'll just try it with my own L1 party (it is non-magical). I wanted to make sure that it isn't critical you use the prefab party. BtW, does it have to be a singleton, though?

Go ahead and start a new RP if you want...you just have to want to type a little bit to start it off interestingly. ^_^

BtW, this is post #400. Cheers!

Okay, I decided, since you said it had no magic, that I was going to play The Election. So I downloaded it and got everything ready, but I ran into a problem. I copied the prefab party that comes with the scenario into the folder all my other save files were, but when I loaded it up in the game, I got an error message that said "This is not an Exile II save file".  . How do I get this to work and/or what were the attributes of that party so I can play it right?

It seems to me that since reading a couple topics on this that Jeff doesn't really want anymore employees and that he would rather do the designing and drawing of his games rather than 50 other employees. Sure, he'd put out games faster, but I think he kind of wants them with his personal touch, so to speak.

And welcome to the boards, BtW. ;)

Back to the topic, you might even want to start over, you know, new game, new places, new party, fresh start. But then again, that's my opinion; it may not be yours. Yes, and you should play at least the demos of the other games so you know what they're like before you decide which one you like best; you may very well change your mind.

EDIT: BtW, FBM, what does abhorrent mean?

Wolverine--Yeah, we have almost no threads that stay on topic, and for that reason, we have threads such as "Yay, look at me, I have a new web page" and "OMFG!!1!1!YEAH 1000 posts, congratulate me" that should create less than 10 posts but really end up with 50-100 (or more, in some cases  ). Get used to it, but don't post way to much spam e.g. make almost every post do something to contribute to the community. But looks who's talking, I'd better quit.

But the best part is the debates and every flaming each other and telling how idiotic they are and then posting their idea, which in turn is disagreed with (or in Alec's case, broken down into parts and replied to in a single post that takes half a page). Have fun!

Good for you. I've never really played Half-Life, but I hope you have fun with it, seeing how exited you are--exited enough to start a whole new topic. ;)

The boxes and instruction manuals and screenshots are fun though, as DS said. :D

Regardless, nice to have you drop by again. You could stick around, you know. However you feel about BoE itself, you can still chat with those who do play it.

No kidding. We can always use you to answer our questions and put a new perspective in some debates. The more points of view there are, the more we can consider the different opinions of other people.

As for playing BoE, in personally (note that I said personally) agree mostly with Creator, as after all, it isn't the real thing, but a bunch of tiny squares called pixels being projected onto a screen and configured a certain way. The same thing goes for violence, but it's actually a part of life. But yes Aceron, I can see your point.
