That said, it just looks the same as any other piece of computer graphics art (again waste of post, but a significant one). I only sketch when I have to kill time. And then only if I have a nice, simple idea. If I take my time and really try, I can make some pretty good sketches, but I don't have that long of an attention span. ;) -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

WBS: 1. Problem solved. 2. When you're ready, you can just start a topic here and I'm sure you'll get a few people interested in beta-testing your scenario. Also, some of those utility downloads don't work for me either, especially the text ones such as the SDF records. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

For one thing, it would be very hard to manipulate all the watermarks, special inks, and fine lines on the 20 dollar bill now. If you did that, then you'd need a multi-thousand dollar printer to print your bills. Than means you'd need to distribute hundreds of bills to pay for productions costs alone. And then you'd be thrown in the slamor if you got found out. I'm sure people can find easier ways to make money. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Come on Imban. Pull out the flaming scepter. ;) TM: I haven't played it, and it'll probably be a while before I decide to check it out. Or maybe not ever. Or maybe some people don't play it because they don't think it's a masterpiece. Or maybe because its greatness intimidates them. Or maybe they've played it and haven't written a review on it. Or maybe they've never heard of it. Okay, that's enough options. Shoot. I thought for sure this topic was dead. :( -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Um-Hm. Now people buy more things than just bread and cheese, hence our dollar and cents system. And yes, this is one of the very easiest ways ever to calculate money---of all time. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I think sometimes they run the Rorschach test to see if somebody interprets every little protrusion on every object to be a penis or a breast. Then you know that that person has issues. Serious ones. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Go Libya! (This, people is actually what the Libyan flag looks like. Complicated.) I know the metric system pretty well. All those prefixes. However, I the trouble is when you have to convert a metric unit into it's Imperial equivalent. quote:No, it's every 3,700 moves, I believe. Considering you're in town. Outdoors, I think each move counts as 5 or 10 or something...much more than indoors anyway. quote:Okay, I suppose you've figured out how to make there be buttons that you can push, like "Rest" and "Leave" too. That's good. As for the stuff done flags, pretty much what ADoS said. I usually put the number of the town in the Part A box to keep you from getting confused. If you need more than 10 per town, you can add 100 to the number of the town. Some people will disagree, but that's what I do and it works. If you're confused, a One Time special needs a stuff done flag to set to 250. Take note than any SDF set to 250 renders the node it's attached to done for. Therefore, the One Time special will set the stuff done flag indicated in the special node dialog box to 250, and the node will not work again. Just be careful not to use that SDF again. And the primary mirror of the Hubble Space Telescope, though one of the most perfectly ground in history, still produced blurry images because of the failure to convert units. Fortunately, this was easily corrected by the addition of an extra lens. macrsp-The metric system screws up just as many things as the American System does. For those interested, the inkblot is an all-black copy of one of the ten slides in the Rorschach test, a tool phychologists use to determine a person's emotional state. They are all designed to be interpreted as different things by different people. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

We use them because their American systems, we're American, so that obviously infers that Americans have the brains to understand a system that doesn't just measure in plain old tens (er, oops, no offense, foreigners ;) ). But the metric system is much more understandable, mostly because we know what each unit of measure comes from. For example, the meter was made upon a 10-millionth of the distance between the poles (or some such thing), the gram is the weight of one cubic centimeter of water, and the liter is exactly 1,000 mL. Actually, the US has given some thought (subtle, but still some) about discarding the American Standard System and adopting the metric. However, we've been doing it this way for years and years, so I don't really see any reason we should stop. However, it would be kind of fun to be driving along the freeway with a speed limit of 120 (or maybe I'm wrong; what is it Rosy or Creator or whoever?). Anyway, I consider our system of measurement a part of our American pride, and therefore, if asked, I would be against the adoption of the metric system. But if it happens, there's really nothing I can do about it. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

You could always make a movie scenario to introduce the main scenario after it, such as Stareye did with Spears. You just have to know how to use that Jump To function. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
