Oh. Well, as I generally play an agent, I would have to agree that an eyebeast is easier to kill, though not much more so than the Gazer. - Archmagus Micael -------------------- "You dare Trifle with Avernum?" ~ Erika the Archmage -------------------- My Scenarios: Undead Valley : A small Undead problem, what could possibly go wrong? -------------------- Richard Black - PROOF of his existance (the Infernal one's website). -------------------- MY FORUM! If you have them pumped up right, Eyebeasts can do 150-200 damage + stun chance to... (I counted at least 12 once) creatures at a time. Pumped up right, a Gazer can do 450-600 damage to a single target. -------------------- MY FORUM! quote:Kel, Why don't you just make a call to check what level the party is. If it's over, say, 100 (or whatever), just make the call throw them staright back out of the scenario. eg. end_scenario(2); I do a sisilar thing to that in KoV (I modified your HLPM scanner). If the party is over level 1, I know that they are not allowed to be so, so the scenario kicks them out, with a message box asking them to try again with a level 1 party. I'm sure you could make a script like this, but if you want, I can post mine up here. Do you actually mean all of that? Or did you just make it up on the spot to try to make people shift their votes to you? - Archmagus Micael -------------------- "You dare Trifle with Exile?" - Erika the Archmage -------------------- My Scenarios: Undead Valley : A small Undead problem, what could possibly go wrong? -------------------- Proof of Richard Black's existance: Richard Black - PROOF of his existance (the Infernal one's website). quote:I doubt that he'd give it a "much needed face lift". If he does anything, it will be purely a small and insignificant change, though even thats unlikely. He can't make any major changes, else the old scenarios (ones made with older versions), may not be quite compatible withthe latest version out. And i for one, as a amateur scenario designer, would prefer it if other people could actually play my scenarios, rather than have a cosmetic face lift done for the game. The book also gives you a much better map of the game than the FAQs do. But on the other hand, that's just pure astethics. I haven't registered Nethergate, but I've won through the demo on both sides before (only have the celts save still findable though now). I've got Avernum 1 full version, but I'd have to say I probably prefer Nethergate, but only because of teh two different view points (Celts and Romans). The one thing I hate about the romans though is their (understandable) absolute lack of spells.
