Hello all,

Avid geneforge fan here. Finished 2 not long ago and am looking to buy this one. One question- for those who might know- are the hint books worth the extra $$? I haven't bought one yet, but hints are always nice to have.

Thanks

Until someone writes a walkthrough as has been done for the first two games, it could be useful, but people on these forums tend to have answers. On the other hand, you would be supporting Spiderweb Software, whatever that's worth.

Schrodinger's FAQ/Walkthrough is at the top of this forum, and between it and this forum you access to all the answers.

Some people prefer to have the book, as it gives you the ability to search for the needed information while staying in the game, so it depends what meets your needs.

The book also gives you a much better map of the game than the FAQs do. But on the other hand, that's just pure astethics.

So Alt Tab don't work for you?

Reading the hints and playing the game simultaneously is not quite the same thing as switching constantly between them.
