Maybe it was the infallible word of God originally, but it certainly isn't now. The Bible is not translated by taking a translation and translating it. They take a bible in Greek or Latin (for the New Testment) or Hebrew (Old Testament). The translations are done from the oldest copies they have, not from new 'easier to copy' ones.
