If you need space fillers like side quests and ideas for dungeons..... Play though Avernum 1, 2, and 3 at least two more times before you go back to your scenario design. It should give you a basic idea of what flows and what doesn't, not to mention it will show you numerous possibilities. -------------------- Returning again after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Posts: 70 | Registered: Tuesday, August 12 2003 07:00 |

I've gone through the run twice now and there is still things I havn't covered. I did quite a bit more the second time though, and I hope to do everything when I go through the third. -------------------- Returning again after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Posts: 70 | Registered: Tuesday, August 12 2003 07:00 |

Well, I believe the point was not as much for the artifacts that you would like to collect and hold on to but for simple things like crystals, scrolls, wands, and other various things. Even gold. The suggestion was already put out there. Make a scenario and put the items into it. I created something for BoE that did that, and I'll probably create it for BoA too. I made it fairly complex on the BoE level, and it will be even better on the BoA level with the much more powerful edditor. However, it can just be something as simple as a giant room with crates to store your items too. -------------------- Returning again after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Posts: 70 | Registered: Tuesday, August 12 2003 07:00 |

Yeah, I think it's the absolute most southwest bookshelf too. If it isn't there, check the desk. I thought it was the desk but that could be a different key in a different desk... or maybe even BoE not BoA.... It all kind blends after a while. :P -------------------- Returning again after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Posts: 70 | Registered: Tuesday, August 12 2003 07:00 |

Remember to use the three laws of Vogal... 1: When you can't find something, it is behind a secret passage. 2: When it isn't behind a secret passage, somebody is still holding it. Talk to everybody. 3: When that still doesn't work, back up your save file and go on a killing rampage untill you feel better and then continue searching with laws 1 and 2. -------------------- Returning again after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Posts: 70 | Registered: Tuesday, August 12 2003 07:00 |

Can't wait for the release.... Must control..... Really though, i can't wait. I've been checking almost daily for signs of BoA's release. It's kind of sad I know but this really is going to be one of the best. I don't want it to be rushed, and know it can't, but I also don't want to wait anymore. It's like an eternal battle in my mind, slowly driving me to insanity, well, further in. I wish I had gotten in on the beta testing, but I probably wasn't picked due to my lack of experience with the BoE editor. -------------------- Returning again after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Posts: 70 | Registered: Tuesday, August 12 2003 07:00 |

Ahh, OK. Thanks. But then, every company does that (for any product) and everybody says that they are the best, so the same could probably be said for all of thoes computers. -------------------- Finally returning after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Anybody else checking for the BoA release multiple times a day? I only read about half of that, and didn't understand everything, but one of the tests that he had posted made me wonder. The gist of what I read: The G5 Mac was compared to the other fastest (or greatest or whatever) computers from other companies. The G5 is a duel processor. The others are not. For some reason, this isn't fair, so in the new test one of the Mac's processors was disabled, thus making the other computers faster. In other words, he turned off half of the Macintosh G5 and suddenly the other computers were faster. Go figure. I wonder what would happen if a Volkswagen Bug could win a race aginst a Corvet that has half power too. Lets test that now. -------------------- Finally returning after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Anybody else checking for the BoA release multiple times a day? I got hooked on Spiderweb Software when I downloaded Exile I from AOL's web pages. That was before there even was anything else. It only took 2.5 hours to download. If only I knew the wonders of DSL and the fact that with a good DSL it would only take 2.5 seconds. lol I found out that Spiderweb had a websight a couple of years ago, and got involved in the forums here a couple of weeks ago. -------------------- Finally returning after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Anybody else checking for the BoA release multiple times a day? People don't like windows because, well, it sucks compared to Mac. And I am not one of thoes people that have only used one platform and complain about the other. I frequently use both. I am glad to use a Mac for 2 reasons. A - It is obviously better, not to mention windows wouldn't be as far as it was today if it wasn't for Macintosh inventing the technology and windows stealing it. B - Very few viruses are written for Macs. -------------------- Finally returning after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Anybody else checking for the BoA release multiple times a day? I don't have, but my friend has a 5 button 2 wheel mouse for his Mac. And you would be surprised at how much he actually uses all of it. Espically when playing Diablo II. I use both Mac and Windows frequently, and I find that the Mac is easier to change and modify to what you want it to be. Windows always seems to have restrictions. You can't do that and you can't do this. Damn it! If I want to throw away my operating system, I damn well am going to and no windows computer will stop me! Muwahahahahahaha! (Why I would throw away my OS is still a mystery) -------------------- Finally returning after being away for a very long time. “Define Reality” Anybody else checking for the BoA release multiple times a day?
