The funny part is that it is actually easy to get my cell phone number from the internet. I'm more comfortable giving out my Skype name though, because I can block people who get annoying. Hint: It starts with "ar" and finishes with "ar". -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. No no no, Alex, you got it all wrong. The correct order of procedure is like this: 1. Read what was posted so far <-- !2. Think up a reply3. Post it:) Magma: It's quite simple, really. Drakefyre is extremely proud of his ranking titles - Apprentice, Journeyman, the whole lot. Now for some reason or other, most people earned a custom title long before they got high up in the ranking. Therefore the highest titles - Frolicking in Postland, Postmaster General and Your Postliness - remained untouched. That made Drakey sad. Why couldn't he resist giving people custom titles? Why did he always have to spoil his own system by interrupting it long before it was through? So he resolved finally to let one through the ranking completely. Alorael was at that time the only one who had a crapload of posts and was yet untitled, so he was the likely candidate. -- Now, of course, the old ranking system has long been replaced. But if Drakefyre were to give Alorael a custom title now, he'd set an example for people begging to be titled. Neither of them can back down without losing face, so Alorael remains untitled and his name remains ever-changing. It's a sad tale, really. :( Edit: You are of course right, Dikiyoba. He has been changing his name for two years now, since around May 2004. He started doing so in protest against not being granted a custom title by Drakefyre. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. The picture *is* that large - as for the gray area at the bottom, I guess that Photobucket couldn't process all of it because of its size. Edit the picture in Paint or something similar to size it down before uploading... -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. You know, as said before, it's polite to stop calling someone something if they have made very clear they don't wish to be called that. Repeatedly. Unless I'm taking it all too seriously again. Then again, it's not really a joke if Nico doesn't consider it funny. Personally, I don't mind the constant Harry Potter jibes, but I can't judge how others feel about being ridiculed. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Alorael is Sir Motrax of Exile, in theory. Conspiracy theory, namely. In practice, unless I caught it wrong, they just see each other with some regularity in the flesh universe. But that conflicts with Alorael living in Alaska. Which in turn conflicts with his IP address. In fact, there are many things on Spiderweb that conflict with each other. It's best not to think too hard about too many of them, or you'll just become confused and paranoid. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Alorael is a General legend, and definitely one of my great idols. I hope to become like him when I'm older - except for the skribbane part; my coffee addiction is quite enough. Still, Alo merits epics. Of skribbane and a rifle I sing... etc. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Two games left. France vs Italy Portugal vs Germany Germany basically sucked in the last game, and the last-minute double garrotting must have shot morale through the floor. Also, they looked exhausted. I don't expect them to catch themselves in time to secure third place. As for the rest, I reiterate my earlier point. France beat Brazil. (Of course, it might just be some subconscious desire to see Italy get comeuppance from France, but hey. :P ) -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Otherwise, given Bahssikava's level, the only way it would be possible would be if you don't consider the HLPM a scenario, or if you're Creator. Incidentally, I still don't know what the Beta Testing Center being referred to is? I could find only Overwhelming's, but that looks neither particularly alive nor very good... -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast.
