I used to have a Mac, nowadays I use Basilisk II.
I think the reason for the difference is that some companies, when making the folders for their Mac games, put lots of segments from the splash screen as icons, and arrange them so that when you open the folder, you see the splash screen as icons. Actually, it's quite clever.

I collect batteries that I find lying on the ground. Most of them are in pretty bad shape. At the moment I have 13 brands of battery.

This is the Crystalshard web page. Follow the links to download it.

Oh, and also, the link to the Subterra forum on that page doesn't work anymore. The official forums can be found here (although it currently has only slightly more activity than the forum here on Spidweb)

Oh yes, I like Andrew Lloyd Webber as well. A few years ago I sung in the children's choir in a performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. It was Red and Yellow and Green and Brown and Scarlet and Black and Ochre and Peach and Ruby and Olive and Violet and Fawn and Lilac and Gold and Chocolate and Mauve and Cream and Crimson and Silver and Rose and Azure and Lemon and Russet and Grey and Purple and White and Green and Orange and Blue.
I know all that by memory now.

Edit: 400th post. Took me long enough to get there.

I love having the first reply.
The musicals that come to my mind at the moment are Chess and West Side Story, because I can't for the life of me remember the others that I've seen.

I voted Microsoft, mainly because I don't have any of the other systems, and I only ever play them at my cousins' house, who I visit about twice a year.

Laser Maze in SubTerra

The level is quite simple, if you're able to dodge the lasers. If the laser is going towards a certain wall that you want destroyed, but a gem is in the way, simply take the gem. If there isn't, and you have to find a way, just find one gem that, if the laser hits it, will deflect the laser to the brick. Then find a way to get the laser to hit it.
There are two lasers to make things easier, but you have to know from which direction gems are getting hit, and if you can do that, the only other thing you need to know is how to dodge the lasers while doing your work.

I've seen Arsenic and Old Lace, I have it on DVD. I think it's funny.
I've got Some Like It Hot at home to, I think, but I've only watched the first half an hour or so.

Hiking in General

Back now. I guess I forgot to say that I'm doing Bronze. I'm only 14, you know.
The hike was mostly boring walking, while my legs and shoulders were killing me. Occasionally we came across steep rocky slopes that were quite challenging - I quite literally had to be pulled up at one point.
I had about 10 hours of sleep in total over 2 nights - last night I was at the brink of vomiting, although breathing fresh air stopped it, luckily. Probably caused by the stuffy tent. And it was FREEZING - not actually below 0, but at night and early morning it was 2-5 degrees, much lower than I'm used to.
You know what really worries me? This was only the practice hike. We have to do the exact same route for the actual hike, in about a month. As long as I don't have a bad cold and sore throat like this one, and as long as it doesn't rain, I'll be fine.

Just to let you know, I'll be away for the next few days on a hike, although you probably won't notice.
You see, I'm doing the Duke of Edinburough scheme at school, and part of it means going on a 2-day hike. So I'll be hiking all day tomorrow, camping overnight, and hiking all morning Sunday. I leave for Somerset in about 3 quarters of an hour.
Anyone else done any hiking lately?

Dikiyoba, in your 'Appearances' page, I think it would be a good idea, as well as 'Dead' or 'Alive', to have 'Attacked by the thing'.

One reason why I don't go on msn much anymore. I'll just ignore that post.

Goodbye, Thralni and Snafta. I didn't know you too well, but I hope you have a good time.
