Ranks in General

I dont think anyone really bothers to rate 2, 3, or 4. No one really has levels of hate or like, its usually either, "I hate this person so much I'm going to take some of my time and rate them 1," or, "This person deserves a good rating; five time."

Ranks never really bothered me; the people who tend to post more, are people with more time to spend. I wouldn't mind a custom title, but I know better than to ask IMAGE(biggrin0.gif) .

Differences between BoA and BoE, what's Nethergate in Blades of Avernum

I cannot tell you how many Exile vs. Avernum arguments this board has had. Please do not start another one. Generally people enjoy the series they played first, in your case Avernum, in my case Exile.

I can hardly wait... can anyone here send me atleast part of the text file about making scenarios, so I have, atleast, a basic knowledge before I start trying to make my own. I never tried or registered BoE...

Archery in Blades of Avernum

Archery is a very useful skill in any of those games. You can pick off those really tough monsters before they reach you. Or severely weaken monsters before they reach your fighters. Plus those casters can be a pain in the ass sometimes, and archery takes them out fast. I tend to like to let weak monsters miss my fighters, while the strong one hides behind them. Then while my fighters are waiting, and taking little damage, my Archer kills the strong one.

Exile 2, first one I ever played, still my favorite. I never registered BoE, so I wouldn't know. The only reason I could think to register it would be to make scenarios and play others, but I can't script so I decided not to.

Considering I want to at least make one decent scenario, and my scripting skills are almost ziltch, that would be awesome.

Sometimes I visit, because I'm bored. Then sometimes I get hooked on these forums because there seems that there is nothing better to do. Now that BoA is coming out for windows soon, I will probably lurk around.

This is for all the Americans on this board. You watched the Super Bowl, it was an amazing game. It came down to who ever had the ball at then end. Panthers lost, I am extremely dissapointed because I live here in North Carolina. Who were you going for?

WTF are we still in Iraq. in General

***I had many ideas hit me at once while writing this, so it may seem a bit garbled.

Some of you are acting like Bush has complete control of the country. True he has a very powerful say in the politics, but he can't just go making decisions like, "I think I'm going to blow up Saddam today." and expect to get away with it. We are a Republic not a Monarchy, and although Bush's cabinet was selected to back his opinions, no one would go to such an extreme as declare war to get something like oil. Atleast not now.
Iraq had a crazy and powerful man in complete charge. That combination is not a good one, look through history books for reference. Doesn't anyone feel just a little safer now that he is gone? Now America is trying to establish a Democracy; support in the east. Look where Iraq is on a map; between many countries run by dictators, kings, etc. A republic government in Iraq could start a trend among the other countries. Wouldn't a thriving eastern culture be beneficial to the world, especially if they could bring their land to its full pontential? Wont trade thrive if that land is cultivated? Wouldn't terrorism begin to deminish? Terrorism in Iraq right now stems from religious fervor. With proper education, the children will be able to determine what is real and what is not.

I may not agree with Bush's methods, but good will come of this bad.

Every man is entitled to his rights, you can't just ignore free will. If Michael Jackson doesn't want cameras to view his trial, then I respect that. I mean, its really none of the worlds (exception of the boys family, Michael Jackson and his family, Judge, Jury, etc.) business, no matter how much we want to know.

Soul Calibur 2 is the most godly fighting game ever. A bit unbalanced (damn you Talim) but not noticable until really high difficulty levels.

If Geneforge 2 was the first spidweb game you played, then you would probably like the Avernum series better than the exile series. Although I do like the Exiles better.
