Religion has no place in schools or government. The pledge of allegiance is just as stupid. The bible is no more important than any other religious document and thus should not be overly represented. Religion practiced at the bureaucratic level only leads to trouble. I suppose the end times are near as God has deemed the US his envoy of destruction. Oh no wait that's only some US people interpreting themselves as being saviours of the weak. But really its only the weak that are destroyed. The whole court swearing on a bible is just a relic one can affirm the truth in many other ways. Does one have to swear on the bible in the U.S.?

David McNally's Another world is possible is a good book demonstrating the effects of American Capitalism and Fascism on 3rd and 4th world countries. Though as with many such books it fails to propose any solution to the current problems.

Shades of yellow nothing more ^. BTW the best thing about the Internet is, how it's killed the library. I for one have never used a book to do a report or any research. The sooner schools eliminate libraries the better. If it's not online it doesn't exist.

Even though Rugby is huge at the high school level in my town I've never liked it. Why would you want to jump all over some other guys? Where as in hockey at least you can smoke a guy but don't have to lay on top of him. Indoor soccer, not futsal which is stupid, is a fun game too basically hockey with a soccer ball.

I am the supreme goaler.

Aussies: Believe you should look out for your mates.
Brits: Believe that you should look out for those people who belong to your club.
Americans: Believe that people should look out for and take care of themselves.
Canadians: Believe that that's the government's job.

Aussies: Are extremely patriotic about their beer.
Americans: Are flag-waving, anthem-singing, and obsessively patriotic to the point of blindness.
Canadians: Can't agree on the words to their anthem, when they can be bothered to sing them.
Brits: Do not sing at all but prefer a large brass band to perform the anthem.

Americans: Seem to think that poverty and failure are morally suspect.
Canadians: Seem to believe that wealth and success are morally suspect.
Brits: Seem to believe that wealth, poverty, success and failure are inherited.
Aussies: Seem to think that none of this matters after several beers.
