I hearby un-register to vote. The politics have confuzzled my brain and my bias both for and against many candidates leaves me unable to vote with the impartiality I would desire to.

Please note, I do not relinquish my candidacy, merely my vote.

Even if he is banned, his votes for me which he pledged on several occasions will still be valid, won't they?

Australia seems under-represented in this election, so I'd like to vote too.

I think the votes ought to count. I'm aware of the circumstances of TGM's banning, but he was still a longstanding community member. His voice ought to count for something, and although I'm certainly biased, I'd support his votes counting even if they weren't for me.

TGM's newest account is not banned, AFAIK.
:) He should be finally un-banned after all. Some people miss him.

I'd like to vote as well. I'm rather new to the boards, but I've spent a great deal of time lurking over the past week. I know who deserves a mod spot. :)

EDIT: You're right, of course, Spring. I guess I got a little overzealous. I won't be voting this time. Perhaps next time will be different.

I would say that I haven't met TGM, but Polaris makes him avalible for posting. he seems to be quite the entertainer.

Slp006, you will need more than a week lurking to be able to properly jude the mods.

I think Drakey's waiting for TGM to make such a promise on his own volition. As far as I know, TGM hasn't yet apologized or formally requested that he be reinstated. I wish he would. :(

I like to vote.
Because I was lurking here a year ago already (I lost my email address), and I remember Alorael, Alec and TM and a lot of the candidates :)
I hope it's not too late to register.

Nope, but you were close to being too late. Registration ends at 4:50 today, supposedly board time. I wonder if then we'll start the elections right away.

EDIT: Okay, Drakey posted at the same time. Question answered.

No, no, no. Don't let me ruin your voting! You can vote, of course. Sorry. You might be too late, though.

I believe you are missing me on that list. Check page 4 of the topic. And it probably should've lasted two weeks. I was on vacation the past week and had I not taken my laptop, would've been unable to participate...

About 60 voters, not sixty votes. There are only so many votes available to each voter as there are candidates in the election. I believe there are about 25 candidates.
