I find it interesting that photo threads attract so many Newbs who never post again, beyond one pic. It's like bait, they just have to post a pic then disappear into the mist.

We've discussed this before. It seems that Avernum lacks the ability to make lanterns and candles that actually provide light. An obvious Vahnatai plague!

I would buy the new comp but not just for WoW. You have to consider that the game also requires monthly subscription fees. That's why I haven't bothered with it. The though of paying money out each month to play a game seems strange.

Around midgame I don't pick anything up really. It's just trash any way. There are plenty of coins on the humanoid monsters.

I like the idea of being sent or say teleported somewhere at the beginning of the game, and not being able to return to Avernum until the very end. Basically being trapped in a strange land. And Demons could still play some role, But no more than a small sidequest.
