OOC:FYI, the Verwey elders are quite accomplished mages and priests, if you decide to use their assistance.

And how did they get into Verwey?

Is your character native to Verwey or did he decide to live there? Verwey natives are supposed to have silver hair when the curse is in effect.

Edit: Eliminated unnecessary text

I'm still waiting to see if Andros, Brother Sequoia and/or Cyrus will go with Caecus.

My brother used to play that game for hours on end, even after I was tired of it (temporarily). But since he still lives with the rest of our family, he never managed to play it long enough for it to be fatal.

This also reminds me of the time I first discovered Halo at my cousin's house on Christmas Eve. My brother and I played the first few levels (the levels Assault on the Control Room through The Maw were inaccesible due to a scratched CD) over and over from around dinner time until 12:35 in the morning. Them we went to bed. A few hours later, my cousin's family's dog walked on the frozen pond next to the house and fell through. She was rescued, but she passed away this year. :(

Sorry of that got off-topic.

Once you use essence to make a creation, it will be gone until your creation dies or you absorb it.
(i.e. using 20 out of 30 essence points to make a creation will cause your essence to be unable to fill up past ten)

There are cheats for this game.

Here is a cheat site.

Caecus was nearing the end of his speech.

"We are the first-borns! Since the beginning of Earth, our civilization has lived! Now we are the only first-borns left! Now is the time to show that we ARE NOT inferior to humans! We can out-live humans, and we can out-fight them! Our numbers are few, but our spirit is strong! Now, a guild wants us dead! They shall see no mercy and no victory!" he shouted.

The Verwey army cheered and chanted "Verwey! Verwey!" Caecus held up his hand for silence.

"The moon-solace draws near! It is also night! Now is the time to march! We shall fight our enemy, and we shall win! To the surface!" Caecus continued.

Caecus rushed over to Andros, Brother Sequoia and Cyrus.

"If you wish to help us, now is the time to march," Caecus said. Part or all of the group, along with the army, continued to march to the surface.

OOC: The first-born soldiers are as good as a well-trained soldier, but not as powerful as one of the RPers. And ,of course, I am not the sole controller.

As a shaper, you may also want to invest in healing craft to heal your creations. And sometimes rogues attack your shaper, so you may want to put a point in endurance once in a while.

Oh, and don't forget that melee rogues (like thahds) can't slaughter your shaper if the rogue is trapped behind a wall of your creations. Use that to your advantage.

"I would guess we've almost killed someone traveling with us about three times," said Caecus coldly as he looked out a nearby window.

"Andros, do you think they shall attempt to declare war on Verwey?" he asked.

"If they can find Verwey, they might attack it," Andros responded. Caecus looked back at Andros and Brother Sequoia.

"They shall feel our fury. I feel that a full moon is coming. They shall know the wrath of the Moon-solace," Caecus said.

"What is this 'Moon-solace' of which you speak?" said Brother Sequoia.

"It is the only time my people may go to the surface. On the day of a full moon, my people may walk in the sunlight freely. Normally the only time we can bear the surface is at night, so the Moon-solace is revered. But we are still allowed to fight on that day. I shall go help my people prepare for the possible war," said Caecus.

And with that, he left the room.

Caecus, in a fit of rage, grabbed Brother Sequoia's throat and lifted him up. "HOW CAN I BE CALM WHEN WAR IS LIKELY TO BE ON THE HORIZON!?!" he yelled. Brother Sequoia couldn't stand this, as Caecus' gauntlet was freezing cold! "C...C-C-Cold..." he managed to gasp.

"That's it! One squeeze and one more problem will be gone!" the runes whispered to Caecus. After hearing this, Caecus put Brother Sequoia down. Brother Sequoia gasped for breath. "I am sorry. Andros, please explain why those bladesmen have come here," Caecus said solemnly.

"Come. We can rest at my house. It's still the way it was when I left it for the last time," Caecus said.

They walked into the village. There were several mages and priests farther in. Some people were playing on drums with a glass-like top that made a low, echoing sound when hit. All the roofs of the houses were made of a similiar material(the roofs were shaped like domes). The group was goin to a particularly large house. A sign above the door read "Aerdiu".

Caecus, followed by the others, walked inside. It was much like any building at that time (except it was larger and the roof was different). A few feet away from the door was a water/food dish on the floor. It was labled "Milkshake". Caecus stared at it for several seconds before going upstairs to a room that was magically kept cold. There were several drinks in the cold room. "Drink what you want!" Caecus said. "There's another room over there with a good view of Verwey over there that is not cold," he added as he pointed at a closed door.

"Wait! My village is nearby. It will be a good place to rest. Follow me if you wish to rest there," Caecus suddenly said. He walked into the forest, followed by those in the group who wanted to find his village. He stopped in a small clearing that contained a large, runed stone surrounded by smaller stones. "Step inside the circle if you want to go to my village," Caecus said as he stepped into the circle. He examined the runes.

"Dar'ashii!" he said quietly(the password to get to his village). The runes started glowing as a dome appeared around the stone circle. The newly formed room started descending underground. Soon, the group arrived at their destination. The dome opened up as they walked out, and the platform started ascending once they all got off.

In front of them was a large village lit up by magical torches and patrolled by soldiers wearing mail, crested helmets with an open front, holding a tower shield in one hand and a scimitar in the other. Some of them had longbows with arrows that had serated arrowheads. Everyone looked normal except for their pale skin and silver-colored hair. One of the patrols walked up to the group.

"Welcome to Verwey!" one of the soldiers said.

"These aren't any ordinary wolves," Caecus hissed, "they're Hunting Wargs!" He percieved them further. "Much like the ones my villagers defended against. We've always thought that a demon had something to do with them!" he added.

And with that, one of them broke through. Caecus quickly slashed an "x" on its chest. "That will keep it occupied!" he yelled. Caecus hurled it over the wall as Sequoia mended the hedge.

"The one I beheaded, who is called Blackrune, is a most horrible of tricksters. He tricks people into giving him their bodies for him to occupy instead. The spirits of the tricked people are forever banned from living and are kept in a dungeon and tortured so Blackrune can learn their secrets. He integrates the magics he deems worthy into its own magic. That was how he learned to animate armor and carve runes. Blackrune deserves much worse than death," Caecus said.

He walks over to Blackrune's body and pulls a necklace out of the pocket. It had a small metal plate on it with a rune carved on it. "This rune allows Blackrune's spirit to escape the body he stole," Caecus said. He crushed the necklace.

"We should go. There's no doubt there will be more suits of armor coming for us. The nearest village I know of is my home village. I think we should go there since they are very tolerant of any beings. But whatever you do, don't ask why we have silver colored hair, as no-one ever wants to tell the story of the curse on my people. All I want to say is that we have to live underground because of it," Caecus said.

There were several whispers coming from the nearby forest. Caecus percieved the scource. "Well, if you shoot me, how could I tell you the secret to defeating animated armor? It would be much easier if I just old you instead of you figuring it out yourself," Caecus said boldly. As if
by cue, several suits of armor jumped out of the forest, followed by one human. The armor had runes carved in them. Caecus let out a ghastly wail to wake the others. "Do not attack yet. I know this human," Caecus said.

Caecus walked up to the human. "It's good to see you again, Aerdiu," the human said.
"I had that name in life, but it is no longer mine. I am Caecus now. And you owe me a rune removal, Blackrune," Caecus responded.
"I can't remove them. You'll have to find Orloki for that. I was made to carve them, hence my name," said Blackrune.
"Then what use are you? I mean, besides for commanding metal husks," said Caecus sharply.
"You were the one meant to do that, Aerdiu," hissed Blackrune.
"Just kill him!" whispered the runes.
"For once, I will listen to them," said Caecus as he unsheathed his swords and beheaded Blackrune. Blackrune's spirit went back to the mountain.
"He was never a warrior. Break the helmets and the armor shall fall," Caecus said as the suits of armor approached. "And don't worry. Without spirits to control them, they're as dumb as posts," he added.

OOC: Now you know more about Caecus.

"Where are you taking us?" Inquired Caecus.

"Don't bother. Kill them! Find the master yourself! These puny beings cannot stop you! You're already dead," whispered the runes. "I shall not kill for you. You can't control me, and soon I will be free of you!" Caecus whispered back. Caecus' runeswords started vibrating. "They just want to destroy you!" the runes whispered. "Your mind games will not work!
They never worked before, and they won't work now! I will not be enslaved! Your master is NOT my master!" Caecus whispered rather loudly.

Caecus had just percieved many people gathering around Cyrus. My fellow undead is in danger? In life, I had sworn to protect my fellow man! Thought Caecus. "Don't bother! He's done nothing for you!" whispered the runes. "But we are both dead men. I cannot allow re-death to get him!" Caecus whispered back. He got up, and marched out of
the tavern.

He saw the scene: Many townspeople were gathered around an undead warrior, along with an assassin. Caecus knew what he had to do to keep Cyrus from getting swarmed. "Leave that skeleton alone! What has he done to you!?" Caecus yelled. Now that hee got everyone's attention, he took off his helmet! Then, to make himself even scarier, he let out a ghastly high-pitched wail! All the townspeople were so terrified that they ran from him, but Cyrus and Cain didn't budge. Caecus put his helmet on and walked up to Cain.

"I cannot let harm come to my fellow man! I swore this in life, and I will follow it in DEATH! If you want to harm Cyrus, you'll have to get through
ME first!" Caecus yelled. He pulled out his twin runeswords and left it at that.
