I was not able to go somewhere else than to the first tower, to a woman selling recipes and to a very nice installation of bread and herbs. Where are the other places? Anyway, my file seems such corrupted, maybe I just can't continue.
:( E.g. that sword is invisible for me.

What was it? The boardgames? Personally I found the quit-the-scenario-devices most useless. But a nice joke. :)

Well, I had the impression ... at least after Dread Curse.

I had L57/15 missiles/10 sharpshooter, L56/15m/7ss, L56/17m/6ss and L60/14m/10ss. Obviously not enough. :P

The re-download from your site doesn't work but replacing remote.cmg did - thank you!

And I stumbled over a typo: Mayor Lyrth says: "North of hear. ..." I'm quite sure it should be "North of here." There might be some others, but I'm definitely the wrong (not natively english speaking) person to find them all ^_^

 Smoo, something is corrupted again. Error: "the game just failed to load this graphic: sheet 511, icon 0 ..." Altered goblins, troopers and the steel helmet in goblins cave are invisible. I had that problem when I downloaded from BoAC and now from your site. And yes, I'm on Mac.

I found the first version of Bahssikava and was finally able to beat Galthrax with my L56-after-Canopy-party. And no, I would not recommend to play it without Cloudes of Blades. (BTW, it's easy to regain the spell in Kel's HLPM. I discovered that too late of course.) Fortunately I had Adlerauge ^_^

Is it only me or is Galthrax the most boring fight ever? One hour of missiles, missiles, missiles and 95% are missing their goal ...
Killing Rentar-Ihrno in A3 is a similar pain, but R.I. was dead after 20 minutes.

Work Visas For Illegal Immigrants in General
Agent

As long there are wealthy countries and poor, overcrowded ones, as long there is a flow of economic refugees. The birthrate of poor, underdeveloped nations is growing fast - whilst the rate of industrialized countries decreases. Mass migration will happen in any case, thus it's better to get them a legal state. Also: legal immigrants can be controlled.

Remember: America is a traditional immigrants nation. America would not exist without immigrants.

We have (in Switzerland) a high immigration rate too: over 20% of the inhabitants are foreigners. And yes, it can be a problem. We separate between economical and political refugees (a nonense, because desolate economics have do do with politics). If you can prove that your life is in danger due to political persecution, you have a high chance to get a legal state here. As long this clarification lasts (month and years =_=), people have the state of "admitting procedure" and are not allowed to do any payed work. They live from social welfare. Not very intelligent I would say. As quicker we would procede social integration, as better would be the chance for the (mostly male, young and under-educated) immigrants, not to slip into criminality.

;) also: do read "The Tortilla Curtain" from T.C. Boyle!

Tried it and ... uh, it's kind of macabre. Phaedra's body looks like meat on spit. But she will not die and recover - how nice ^_^

Kel, did you change something with Galthrax' power? I can't remember him thus invincible. Ithik and the bunch of golems died after the first turns, then I tried to fight him with missiles and summoned monsters (to keep him in a distance).
Galthrax is immune to spells and seems to be nearly immune to melee and missiles. Even with the spear of Khaltas: you hit him 10 times and strike once, then the pole-fighter is eaten. After two hours(!) shooting that dragon I gave up. From 50 arrows remained about four hits. And I think even his health points increase sometimes, oh well.
I must add that my party was level 50. And I didn't have Clouds of Blades anymore, (played Canopy before).
Without Phaedra, Galthrax is not to beat - am I right?

Of course, absolutely true. Call me naiv but I have faith in higher justice or balance. It's basic for ethical behaving. Doing bad will have bad consequences, if not in this life, then in the next one. I don't think that something happens without a reason.

TM dear, please bestow us half an hour of your precious time and update the rating of the original monsters. I just got a PM from bigblue, she says that she left the forum because she was annoyed and disappointed about the sad end of this contest.
I'm sure you don't want to be guilty of scaring away nice ladys.
And I'm sure she will come back when the rating is done ...

I would say, not only Terry Schiavo is in a vegetative and brain dead state, but also the congress including the Bushs (Jeb and the other Arschloch). It's absolutely cynical to keep a dead person for 15 years artificial "alive" - against her wish! Not to mention the costs. And it's even more abominable to abuse this braindead person for a spectacular media show and republican campaigns.
Poor America. My sympathy to all intelligent, incorrupt people who must live in such a hypocritical nation.

Why don't you just try it, Saintofsword? It's usable endlessly.
And yes you're right Imban, revenge and justice don't really fit.

It's a beautiful riddle BTW, a true poem. Did you write it Smoo?

It's a protective charm and turns the user invulnerable for a short time.

What I wanted to know about the riddle: How do you find the right answer without peeping into the script? Is there a hint somewhere? Because - as you said - revenge or justice would fit as well.

Wolfowitz to rule the World Bank? in General

Europe reacted rather sceptical, also because Wolfowitz has no experience in banking business and development.
What scares me: Bush started to put his hardliners in key positions of international organizations, first John Bolton into the United Nations, now PW into the World Bank. What's next?
quote:
It makes perfect sense to put an ex-member of the Democratic Socialists USA on a board position in one of the biggest leeches of third-world potential ever formulated by well-meaning people.
Alec, forgive me my ignorance but what are you talking about? Who is ex- democrat? If this should have been a joke ... I didn't get it =_=
