Well, I sent another version of Backwater Calls to the BoA-center. Hopefully this one fixes all of the problems brought up, if so I can finally really start working on another scenario.

If SkeleTony or DreamGuy are reading this, could you check if the dialog script in Sattle is working right for you two now. :)

Edit: Oh yeah, you can also get the scenario from my own website. Just click here, Hopefully there aren't any problems with the page.

Great seems to have fixed the few problems I had. At least so far.

Edit: what exactly does the alter do? I couldn't see any change to my characters.

Didn't receive any submission from you. (Make sure you sent to the right email address: boa.center@gmail.com).

But no problem. I'll download from your site and update your scenario page right now. :)

Huh? The email address was boa.center@gmail.com and my first attempt to send you the scenario rebounded back but I didn't get any error messages from the second attempt. *shrug* Oh well...

One small problem I had in this scenario is that the Plate of Electrocution did not return damage to an attacker.

It only works against attackers using weapons.

Try getting attacked by a slith, for instance.

I, too, wonder what the altar does.

 Smoo, something is corrupted again. Error: "the game just failed to load this graphic: sheet 511, icon 0 ..." Altered goblins, troopers and the steel helmet in goblins cave are invisible. I had that problem when I downloaded from BoAC and now from your site. And yes, I'm on Mac.

Also the pictures for the intro text do not load. Just an error saying BOA may have run out of memory or something like that.

Whoops! My bad! I completely forgot that the graphics in the .sit file on my site weren't working properly. I uploaded another version on my site with working graphics. Sorry for the inconvenience. :( :D

Alternatively spy.there if you still have the .sit-file from spiderweb lying around, you could just extract the remote.cmg file from there to the Backwater Calls folder and see if the graphics work after that.

The re-download from your site doesn't work but replacing remote.cmg did - thank you!

And I stumbled over a typo: Mayor Lyrth says: "North of hear. ..." I'm quite sure it should be "North of here." There might be some others, but I'm definitely the wrong (not natively english speaking) person to find them all ^_^

Er, Smoo, I have a (minor) suggestion- you should probably tone down the Protective Charm. As it stands now, I can pass it around before a big battle to get infinite levels of invulnerability on my entire party, and this is a bad thing. :P

Serves me right for not really testing the amulet. It seems that I forgot to put the "usable once per day" thing on the charm's script. Well I'll certainly change that.

Smoo, there are some corrupted quotation marks in text windows - sadly I don't remember anymore where exactly. But they appear as Yen-symbols for me (on mac OS 9.2).

Those were easy to find and fix. There should now be an updated version on my site. Hmm... I'll probably need to put a link to my site on my signature.

I forgot another bug: when I re-enter the place with the pond (secret passage) coming from the fortress, I find myself in a black screen. There is no way to leave blackness but to reload a safed file ... It occurs only if I enter straight from north - from NE it's okay. And I had this in the first version already.
BTW, Marnok didn't attack at the pond in this version, should he?

Marnok only attacks at the pond if you've defeated him once already in the iron mines.

I somehow always forgot to look into that pond bug, sorry. There should be a fixed version on my site now.

Just gave this a play -- nice adventure, good pacing, and more colorful characters than most scenarios have. Did find some bugs, though: the dust of learning, the altar in the middle of the lake, and entrance and exits around Grisham and the secret passage around the demon fort could be tweaked.
