Your hit rate was only 5%? My archers were still hitting 95% of the time even after Dread Curse. They each had about 20 levels in Thrown Missiles and Sharpshooter -- which isn't hard to achieve; I was able to find all those points for them even after giving them 17 levels of priest spells. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Aren't you supposed to get your levels of Cloud of Blades back after Canopy? Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

quote:Well, I had the impression ... at least after Dread Curse. *opens saved file and checks the party* I had L57/15 missiles/10 sharpshooter, L56/15m/7ss, L56/17m/6ss and L60/14m/10ss. Obviously not enough. :P -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |

Wow. No wonder you were missing a lot. Were you trying to design them so they'd stand up in melee or something? My recommendations are not to give archers any Endurance and not to try to make them melee fighters; they'll always do more damage with missiles than melee anyway. Although, uh, if all four of your characters were archers, that might be harder to achieve in practice.
