I would really recomend Firefox, even without a download manager, its a great alternative to explorer.
And by the way, you can still use explorer, even though you have firefox installed.

Sounds interesting, if I have time for it...
Been really busy with planethalflife.com, GTA: SA and World of Warcraft, and with HL-2 coming out in two days...

Arafat dead? in General

Heh, computer game tactics…
I terrorize my citizens to the breaking point, use "spell of happiness", and my poor plebs are happy again, repeat as necessary. As long as enough people are naive/ ignorant enough to believe Arafat really is against terrorism, that’s the easiest solution.

Latest reports:
The docs say he can be healed, and today he opened his eyes and communicated.
From the newspaper Yediot Aharonot, via vg.no.

Ok, checked out vg.no (Norwegian newspaper), and Arafat is not in coma, not in danger of his life. So by logical conclusions, we can say that he is not dead, and he is not brain dead, as this would be virtually the same as a coma, feel free to prove me wrong.
The news was brought to us by Arafat’s Chief of Staff.

Its nice picture, but I know you can do better. Final opinions can only be voiced when you are done shading it etc.

Well, say whatever you want about him being a terrorist and a bad man and all that, but I feel sad... He looks so nice (yeah yeah, call me naive), just like Castro! I would like to have one of them as my grandpa... If the personalities were switched a little.

Personally, I don't see an end to the whole mess, except for the Bushieboy hand of "justice" of course...

I found Exile III on a MacWorld CD six years ago, I remember playing it gave me allmost the same feeling as when I played Prince of Persia for the first time...
Joined the forums in 2001, posted a little, had a one year break, and then started to post again.

Happy Spy? :P
But I agree with kitty here, it needs life.
Add some birds flying around, a fox hiding in the bushes maybe, those tree mushroom thingies, moss, you probably won't see all that stuff in the forest at all times, but it shows us that it is a forest.

Hoorj, I'm back, kind of...

Anyway, I think the best way to make those beams would be symetrical, steep diagonal lines, and put them in the background. make them transparent white or yellow, and if you are drawing where they break trough the leaves, make it pretty blinding on the closest leaves and gradualy darker.
You might add some pixel sized dots in the beams too.

That felt awfuly logical...

Hahaha. Sweden.

Regional deserts... I'd have to put Ben & Jerry's at the top of the list, but I'm not sure how big of an area the word "regional" describes. The business was almost started in my town, though, so I suppose that's close enough. My own homemade ice cream is quite good, too, as is my dad's, but it isn't produced fast enough to sell. Too much competition, too.

Sweden what? The Jaffa cookies?
