Thats probably one of the longest/pointless topics I've seen in a while. You must be pretty bored. You know, instead of coming up with the idea for that topic and writing it all out, you could have been playing a really nice game called 'Avernum'. The following is taken from Aloraels signature on the last post of a very old locked topic from the old Galactic Core Forums (I added the caps): —Alorael, who would have to agree that this topic serves no purpose relating to Galactic Core or anything else. Thus, he will exercise his newly-discovered moderatorial powers here and end the topic. After all, THERE MAY NEVER BE ANOTHER TOPIC HERE FOR HIM TO LOCK. :P Posts: 45 | Registered: Sunday, September 8 2002 07:00 |

I always thought the Shareware Demon gobbled them up. Hey, at least I'm not asking you how many buttons your mouse has. I mean really, what is that? [ Saturday, July 31, 2004 21:01: Message edited by: crowsfein18 ] Posts: 45 | Registered: Sunday, September 8 2002 07:00 |

How many more bad topics are there going to be centered around pretty pointless questions? Or, have things always been like this in general and I've just never noticed? ( I know this just adds to the number of 'what are you listening to' and 'what did you last eat', but I dont think it really matters much :P .) Neat, my poll in general actually accomplished something. I wasn't really serious about wanting an Oceanbound board though, just curious to see how long people would abuse that idea with spam. Still neat though. Posts: 45 | Registered: Sunday, September 8 2002 07:00 |

Oops, guess I should probably train a few more levels in Windows Operating System lore. Really, why would anybody order Homeland? I mean, the demos boring enough, I cant imagine what the full game would be like. And when I said 'older games', I wasnt talking about Avernum, I was refering to stuff like Homeland, Oceanboud, Lost Souls, you know, the non-spiderweb games that stunk. I doubt Homeland does though. Really, go to the Spiderweb Software main page, go to our games, and look at the Homeland section, it says it requires one of the earlier forms of Windows. Im sure his problem is that he's running it on XP. I wonder, how many people have actually ordered Homeland? Posts: 45 | Registered: Sunday, September 8 2002 07:00 |

You actually ordered that game? Wow. Well, Im not exactly sure, but I think some of the older Spiderweb games dont always work that well, or hardly at all, on Windows XP. I just checked the little section that Homeland has at Spiderwebs website, and it says that it only works on Windows 95/98/NT. That might be why it crashes. Who thinks there should be a discussion board for that great game, Oceanbound? I think its a great idea, a place where we could swap strategies, answer questions for anyone having trouble with the game, and just talk about the game in general. Please vote to let me know what you think. This poll has been moved to another forum. Posts: 45 | Registered: Sunday, September 8 2002 07:00 |
