I can't be bothered doing it again. Slightly left, moderately liberal.

I try to be as liberal as possible...I mean, I don't think faith-based schools play any positive role whatsoever, and there's absolutely no reason a loving, committed same-sex couple shouldn't be allowed to adopt. And the government has no right to choose what a woman does with her body, or whether a woman should have to carry a child she doesn't want. Just my viewpoint.

Apparently, I'm becoming less libertarian and more leftist.

^_^ Look what they've got to say on British/American spelling:

17. When are you guys gonna learn to spell ?

This grievance comes from those who aren't aware that British and American spellings sometimes differ.

We've been at the centre of some rancour, but we're not going to take offence or harbour any grievances. The catalogue of complaints won't colour this organisation's programme. It's a grey area anyway. And we don't want to labour the point.

Age 64

Voted for Lyndon Johnson in '64 because of fear Barry Goldwater would get us into a war in Vietnam.

Last election voted for Ralph Nader.

Next election, will vote for anyone who can beat George Bush before he wrecks the country.

Thinks politics is inherently a disappointing proposition.

Oh well. I guess that means no more "hard right" assumptions, considering that all my answers were completely truthful...

SIR DAVID is a STALINIST

We must SUBMIT HIS WHEREABOUTS to the HOUSE OF UNAMERICAN ACTIVITIES for the sake of DEMOCRACY

What better way to alienate a newly-joined message board than by revealing political leanings which — apparently — differ from the norm? :)

Anyway, here are my rankings:

Economic Left/Right: 2.75
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.00

I must disagree with some of the site's reading recommendations for my political type, however. Although I'm a staunch individualist, I really have no patience with Ayn Rand's "self-interest above all else" philosophy.

And I bet if Sir David found a way to combine political atheism with his heretofore-held views, he'd make a fine chairman.

I'm closest to Jean Chretien. The first time I did the test I was closest to Tony Blair, then every other time until this one I was closest to Gerhard Schroder.
