After finding one more secret control hidden behind a pillar in Geneforge 4, I resolve to play the new games much slower so I can scan all obscured areas with the cursor. Jeff must spend days plotting where to hide things instead of working on easter eggs. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I really should resolve to spend less time here... :P As for things I'm actually going to do, my resolutions will probably include making multiple BoA scenarios, and listening to more of my older music. Oh, and to get out more. quote:Yay! quote:Boo. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. My resolution would definitely be to get In Twilight Shadows released sometime in 2007. -------------------- "It's sort of like Star Wars. Except Jeff didn't make Erika shoot first in Avernum 3, nor did he introduce annoying computer-animated aliens." —Arancaytar The Spiderweb Chat Room Shadow Vale - My site, home of the Spiderweb Chat Database, BoA Scenario Database, & the A1 Quest List, among other things. This probably wouldn't qualify for a New Year's resolution, but if I get chosen for Windows G4 beta testing, I'll try to spend all my spare time on it. ;) Posts: 107 | Registered: Monday, December 4 2006 08:00 |

Release The Escort and Agadia Isle (BoA Scenarios), lose 300 pounds, and try to unspoil the cat. That last one probably won't happen. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

One of them is definitely to finish ItSoD. The others... well, uhh... baby steps. We'll work on one goal at a time. :P -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. They do not like being provoked. -Lenar My website: Nemesis' Refuge Posts: 743 | Registered: Friday, September 29 2006 07:00 |

My New Year's resolution will probably be exactly what it is now: about 1024 x 768! HA HA HAAAA!!! For next year all I can hope to do is not blow all my money on booze. Since I'll be flatting and being a student and all I doubt that I'll be able to manage this. But one can hope. Posts: 776 | Registered: Friday, July 4 2003 07:00 |

quote:Well, the gravitational force on an object with negative mass would be negative. However, a negative force acting on an object with negative mass would have the same effect as a positive force acting on an object with positive mass, so it'd still fall in the usual direction. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Yes, but the issue here is negative weight, not negative mass. As we all know, weight is the force exerted on mass by gravity. So, mass having negative weight is equivalent to gravity repelling said mass. -------------------- 5.0.1.0.0.0.0.1.0... Posts: 508 | Registered: Thursday, May 29 2003 07:00 |

Being repelled by gravity would require you to have imaginary mass, in which case you're made of tachyons and have bigger problems than being really light. Just to add to the confusion, did anyone else notice that "Spiderweb Software" is an anagram of "word-bereft...uh...donkey-wipe"? That doesn't really sound like us. How insulting. I've just bought a pet llama. It's quite cute, but it keeps chewing on all the wires. Anyone else have this problem? Posts: 587 | Registered: Tuesday, April 1 2003 08:00 |

Originally by The Stew Boy: quote:So, your New Year's resolution is to get your llama to stop chewing on wires? :P I remember resolutions coming up before, and I said that I would stop smoking. I still don't smoke and it's unlikely that I ever would, but I still hold to that resolution. :P Dikiyoba will probably wait to make a more serious resolution until 11:59 on New Year's Eve. Then Dikiyoba will probably resolve to stop waiting until the last minute to do things. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

My resolution is to downsize on the material possesions while upgrading living conditions by at least 10%, have all boxes packed by January 21st, and have all boxes unpacked by February 6th. My goals are quite lofty but if I pull them off I can be lazy the rest of the year. :) -------------------- "Even the worst Terror from Hell can be transformed to a testimony from Heaven!" - Rev. quote:Sounds like a decent plan to me. I'm probably going to end up doing the same thing between now and moving out of the dorms again in May, particularly since I have no idea what kind of living situation I'll be wrestling with next year. My resolution is to start working on fixing Echoes again... In fact, I'm writing notes on shops and SDFs right now. (TM, just in case you can read this, I apologize for being so slow*. :( ) I also promise I will try not to 'accidentally' erase the entire Mountain Worg gauntlet. :P *Or perhaps I should say 'lazy', to be honest.
