It's weird. I leave for months, cpome back and don't know anyone. Well, that's not so weird I mean that's to be expected but....

every member I see has a higher number than me (been here shorter.) Aside from TM (who I only know cause his number is 4) am I one of the oldest here?

Everywhere I look there's member numbers higher than 187. You guys are making me feel like an old fogey here!!

Well I feel like I'm signing up for the first time, again. Hello everyone, nice to see you all.

Is the one they called ALec still around? Last I heard, which was a while ago now, he was banned? What's he done now......

Alec's still unbanned and around, as are several other oldbies. Some have created new accounts, though, and of course the names keep changing.

—Alorael, who could say that 186 members joined sooner. But that's rather obvious (and not really correct, since many are now gone and some are duplicates), so he won't mention that fact.

Hello. Most of the older members are actually quite old in years themselves too. We don't have too much time to post.

I consider myself a pretty old member, and I'm 9... something... haven't been here forever... anyway, yes, you are an old fogey =]

Has Alec really come back? He said he swore never to return...

Also, Custer, WTH?

EDIT: 919.

Might as well get this out in the open, since everyone who's anyone knows already. Alec is Custer.

Just in case the Alfred von Schlieffen topic in Galactic Core hadn’t made it perfectly clear already. Not to mention the frequent name-changing...

I guessed something like this as soon as Custer appeared, but wasn't sure..

Meh, this just proves that Alec's a liar. And no, I will not explain that last one, you'll figure it out, or not.

I read more than I post, but I've been around these boards for quite awhile (just don't remember my official number--but once I post, that'll take care of itself). And yes, at 37, I'm a bit up there in years, too.

Think about this, Spiderweb started in 1994. It is going to be 2004 in a few months. So in a few months Spiderweb will be ten years old. So bynow we have two generations of Spiderwebbers. The ones that have been here since Spiderweb began in 1994 to the members who joined in 94, 95,96,97,98,99, is the first generation. and The members who have joined since then is the second generation. The first generation is mostly in there twenties and some in there thirties by now. And the second generation such as myself are mostly teenagers. Now by now alot of the first generation Spiderwebbers have left because now they have full time jobbs and professions they do not have the time to be here. Alot of the people on Spiderweb is now from the Second Generation, mostly teenagers. So Spiderweb has entered its second error, and so Spiderwebs history can now be broken up into two phases, The First Generation, (during the 90's) and The Second Generation(During the Thousands).

After reading through my response to Lord of Evil's post I realize that I shouldn't post it and will instead post this friendly piece of advice to myself and others:

If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything nice. At all.

I actually came into the community pretty early (96?), and I'm certainly not in my 20s.
I also find 'the thousands' intensely clever, although I can't see why.

No, no. SW's second error was Geneforge 2.

Upper teens would be much better than saying 20's.
