How often does the average geek visit these boards and join a "conversation"? I can only speak for myself (1-2 a week. Does it qualify me as a geek or must I still walk this earth as a despicable random user?). Oh, and surfing the net I found this text : "Rape is such an dirty word. Every day, and I always make at least one post, sometimes 10. My average is almost 200 posts a month! I joined here in May or so, and I'm probably going to reach 1000 this month... I visit these and Lyceum boards once or thrice a day or more but I don't join the conversation so much. This is my 45th post but I've been lurking here actively maybe a year or two. I visit one every day or two, but will typically contribute perhaps a half- to a dozen posts each time. I've slowed down in the last week or two as the display has been a bit screwy, meaning I end up typing half a dozen lines and then have to suit for 5 minutes as they gradually appear before me, line by line. I visit once or twice a day, but one "visit" is often very long and punctuated by many other things, especially now that Spiderweb's errors and slowdowns make it possible to write the great American novel between posts. I really, really wish UBB could remember which topics you view instead of counting only from the last time you logged on, more or less. —Alorael, who can't qualify "once or twice a day" with "but I only post..." either. I am on this website constantly. Everytime I go to my computer, this is one of the first places I go to. I don't talk much over the internet, but, this site is the exception. I visit this site the most now. The Classic Nick Homepage message board has basicly gone dead, so I visit here now. I log on to this site maybe 15 or more times a day. This is now the only site I post on much anymore and I post "whenever the spirit moves me". And it moves me a lot.
