If you ever do manage to catch up to Alorael I think you must have spent half of your life on the boards. It really isn't worth it. Hail fellow Trakovite! You are forgetting that most of the towns in the forsaken lands were doing okay (they weren't going to die out in 20 years) or quite well. Therile had hired tough guards which it couldn't have done without money (yes I know there was harsh servile labor, I object to that). I don't think that people went on a manhunt for serviles that were intelligent, but followed orders. The rebellion is part intelligent serviles who rebelled against cruel treatment (which isn't as common as they make it sound, in Shaper Camp Gamma the guy cared for the serviles), and partially because they had nothing better to do. Think about it this way, you work for 8 to 10 hours a day. Being made for this, it doesn't bother you working that long, you just get bored when you aren't working. You ask for something to do, but the overseer denies you. What would you do? At this point in the war those are basically the choices a servile could have but if the shapers just gave serviles something to do they might have a much smaller rebellion to deal with. About the going on a holocaust against species, only a few shapers actually go looking for drakons, eyebeasts, and drayks to kill. Unless the Drakon or drayk is actually close by or they are being a nuisence, most shapers won't go out of their way to hunt them down. As Slaughtering said, the only side that has a morally correct arguement is the Trakovites, which you can't actually join (Arrgh). One thing I noticed. She was turning clockwise, then I moved my mouse down towards the bottom of my screen and the picture twitched. I looked at her and she was moving counter-clockwise. I think since it is a moving image they may make it switch. Both right and left brained functions have good attributes according to the list, so it wouldn't matter if they made it switch. The only way to solve this arguement is to get rid of shaping completely. Everyone would need to rethink their battle plans, since now no one can suvive for months anymore, which would mean they would need to watch out for the common people who grow the food. My school is a private boarding school. The kid that ran away is still at school. I don't know what happened to him. So far I do not think there has been a change to anything. Other than some teachers and administrators being irked. The main reason they were protesting was so that they could be heard. Funny to mention, the leader of the protest was a vegan. He also wore a bright orange jumpsuit during the protest. Since it was so cold and I was annoyed at them, I thought about grabbing a squirt gun or something and spraying them with water, or having a protest against their protest. Details about why Myspace/facebook was banned was that a few years back, a girl gave away too much information and a creepy stalker appeared on campus looking for her. Also there was some verbal abuse about/sent to other people, which was brought to the attention of the Administration. Both of those things have the potential to happen again, and the verbal abuse would probably start right away. Also they decided to walk out at an all school meeting right before a Dios de los Muertos (pardon spelling) presentation, which made several teachers rather irked. Due to popular demand, why they were protesting. One of the kids got in big trouble because he tried to run away a few days before, and they thought he was punished too hard. They were upset about the internet useage policy and firewall used (even though most of them could get around it with a proxy server). They want myspace and facebook unblocked. And in general they want to be heard. Along with a few other things. Today at school, about 1/5 of the students (my school is insanely small) held a protest (sitting outside skipping classes). There were several different reasons behind it, but it was mainly to be heard by the administation. They said that they had already tried petitions, and approaching different staff members but failed. The funny thing is I, as well as other people, never had the chance to sign any petitions at all, which is especially wierd since the school is tiny. Also, the guy who started it allowed anyone to join, which made me think about half of the students out there just to skip class. Do you think that the guy was justified in doing this protest, should he have only hand picked students, do you think it will work, do you think that if it works will it happen again and again? What is your input on this? Also do you think protests are the best way to solve problems? I hate to take sides, but Iffy might have been taking it literally.
