The reality is that at this point, we really can't colonize other planets. And current science authorities tell us that it won't ever happen. Of course, these are probably the same authorities that told us that man would not fly. So if things change in the future and we find we might have the capability..we most definitely should try. The human race should never turn away from an opportunity to learn and evolve. ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? Again, I throw in with Synergy. It's so much fun to get a weapon or spell or whatever that just completely rocks. Obviously you don't expect it to roll over everything...but to have it make an obvious difference..well..it's fun. Because you know you've worked hard to get it. It 's like your dang due!! I've actually never heard anyone complain that they've gotten something that made the game too easy. But to get something special because of your trouble and toil..it's always good. Hope that makes sense. ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? Posts: 63 | Registered: Friday, April 12 2002 07:00 |

From your mouth to Jeff's ears, Synergy. The gift of having something special adds to the whole gaming fun. So along with Randomizer, you're pretty much my Nethergate hero guy. May you continue as a knight in shining mauling leather armor. ---Zelda [ Tuesday, October 30, 2007 17:54: Message edited by: Zelda ] -------------------- Hey, where are we going? By Ephesos: "Fact of the matter is, Cards fans are the best in baseball. I have more stories, but that's the best one. Thank you and good day. EDIT: Go Rockies!!! NL Forever!" I grew up in Missouri and Arkansas..After the Twins the Cards are definitely my team. But my point still remains..NOBODY is good to the opposing team. I will admit that the Card fans do try to excercise good southern manners. But they can't always. And what the heck? Go Rockies?? That's just..wrong. Umm..and this is different..where else? I'm not excusing it, but I've also watched games in other cities and the home town crowd is NEVER all that receptive to the opposing team. When they are, it's just pity and that doesn't feel so good either. But for Minnesota now...we're just pathetic and want everyone else to suffer for it. :::insert evil laugh here:: ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? Hello Mr. Jumpin' Salmon, I looked at your poll..and I would have to vote "I don't care" to every question. :::sigh:: I do love baseball..but geesh!! Who the heck cares about the Colorado Rockies??? And the Red Sox? Bah..just another eastern team that I hate. This series is so ho hum and who cares. I'm sorry..I get that you're a Red Sox fan. But I'm not. So....whatever!! Do I just sound bitter? Yep!! I'm just a Twins fan being a really poor sport. ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? Posts: 63 | Registered: Friday, April 12 2002 07:00 |

Hey, you so know that bless, protection and haste are sort of good!! But you're right..not nearly as good as the original. I've been able to live quite well and prosper without it up to this point. So I'll muddle through and not cheat with the editor. Thankee again, Randomizer! I'm heading to the Spire of Ages for the last quest. I'm obviously trying to make sure that I've covered every last mission. I don't have the Hero of Old spell. I've looked everywhere and finally went to spoilers. Spoilers tell me that I can find that spell at the Vale of the Sould. My question is: Can I find it in the Vale of the Sould? Or can I only get it from Samael when I give him the glowing stones. I already gave them to the Rose Lady. So am I screwed? ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? Best thing about Nethergate is that you can play it through from one perspective..then turn around and play it from another- changing the game entirely. Makes it well worth the money and the time. If you are really into rpg's, that is. If you love puzzles as well as brute action, this is again a game for you. Not to mention a fairly engaging story line. Spiderweb has always been a great favorite of mine for games. Yeah..I'm pretty much the choir here. Lalala ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? The walkthrough says that the capture soul spell is under the Temple of the Brigantia. Actually..no. You can find the simulacrum spell there..and the beastskin spell. Also in a secret area you'll find create elixir. I have to agree with the wise Nethergate sage...the Capture Soul reference was pretty much a flub. ---Zelda [ Wednesday, October 17, 2007 19:32: Message edited by: Zelda ] -------------------- Hey, where are we going? Update on Zelda's Derek's RING quest: ;) I do not remember finding the ring anywhere. And most definitely it was not in my special items list. Nevertheless, when I went back to Vanarium and talked to Velenna at the inn, I was given the option of telling her that I had found the ring. I got experience points, a room for life and her undying gratitude. But I'm telling you, I really don't think I ever found that ring! I have a saved game right before I talk to her if anyone wants to look at it. Definitely no ring in my special items list. :::sigh::: I will admit that I do occasionally play this game late at night and I might not remember everything. In fact, unless I write it down..I don't. I'm pathetic really. Sorry Randomizer if I was sort of cranky. I do appreciate the help you always give. ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? "You can delete a topic as the creator if you do it before anyone replies. The body is northeast of the Faerie Bazaar near the Jagged Aerie. Check out the skeletal bodies outdoors until you find the right one. The quest from Velanna implies that the body is further south than it actually is." I didn't really care about deleting the topic. I just wanted to edit it. And I'm not trying to be a total butt..but I have been over and over the area around the Jagged Aerie. I cannot find this body. Thanks for trying to help. ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? Posts: 63 | Registered: Friday, April 12 2002 07:00 |

I would have liked to see the pun. I always love a pun. For me..I can't wear contacts because of an eye injury. I mean..I guess they say that I could..but it would just involve a great deal of pain and suffering. Who wants pain and suffering? Gimme glasses. I look okay. ;) ---Zelda -------------------- Hey, where are we going? And what's with the handbasket? Posts: 63 | Registered: Friday, April 12 2002 07:00 |
