I have killed the demon upstairs in the Tower Colony, but their are areas up there I still can't access because of rock cave-ins. I can see a book behind a gate. I was thinking the area could be accessed from X's upstairs rooms with the doors that can't be picked, but that is just a guess on my part. Does any one know how to access those areas? When I first entered Koth's castle, I was stopped and asked by a statue if I had anything of value. I said yes, then entered the next room that was filled with lazers. Every monster I meet in there instantly attacks me. I don't remember any traps that were there to set off, but I had to kill the two giants (Efrits?) that were guarding the Hall of Statues. I've looked and looked and can't find the secret room to open the gate to the northeast in the Opal Citadel to get the Melora Opal. Also, is it actually possible to complete the game in "two weeks"? It seems impossible. Also, does Koth the Dragon require all 3 special items to let you through his castle, because I had two of them and I was forced to fight and kill him anyway. I can't work the puzzle on the second floor. I can't find any runes that when you step on them they create colors, they always create snow which keeps you from using magic. 4 of the rooms have a crystal you can break, but they always return, and theirs a guy who has a key that always disappears after you defeat him. I'm playing the 1st Scenario on the Demo. Is there a list of Magical Effects and there icons for Blades of Avernum? One of my characters has one that's there all the time. I'm playing the Demo of Avernum 3, and my Mage spell skill is at Level 10, but when I bought Level 1 spells of Lighting Spray, Far Sight and Create Illusions, which only require Level 6 spell skill, they are not highlighted for use in the Info window or represented in the Cast Mage Spell window. There is an area in Rentar Ihrno's Keep that I can't find a route too. It's one level down and to the far right. You can see it is separated from the tunnel above it by a small dark rectangle representing a chasm. I've accessed every tunnel, but can't find any way to this area. Would appreciate any help. Is there anyway I can help the sick wolf south of Fort Monastery? I've cast both a heal and cure spell on him, but it doesn't seem to help. Then I bought some fish from the guy farther down and set them next to the wolf, but nothing happened. Also, I have the Stability bauble, but I don't know what it does. I've been reading posts about playing A4 as a singleton. Does that mean all the abilities are given to one character, and the other three are just along for the ride? Hi, I need help. I'm near the end of the game, and I still don't have enough skill points along with armor, etc. for full protection or tool use to open any doors over 22. I saw one cabinet that had a 90! tool use requirement. How are these higher scores attainable when you have to spread your skill points among other necessary abilities? Secondly, how does first aid work. Does having just one character buy skill points enough for everyone, or should each character buy first aid. I've been to Khor's lair and found the translation book. When I went back to Lark and tell her I can translate them, she says, "Go ahead, I can't wait", but then nothing happens.
