Nice, Dikiyoba. Though I think it might have been more appropriate if I was dancing with a cat. Also, unless the accosting somehow managed to modify Sarasaphilia's DNA, you accidentally misidentified her as a male. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Well, we didn't know it was a celebratory topic. Or, at least, I didn't know. Don't ask me what their excuse is. :P Congratulations, Nikki. Hope your computer gets well soon! quote:I phrased that badly. Essentially, it's like the physical damage resetting itself to zero, except that, instead of stopping at zero, it continues getting calculated, thus still doing (considerably less) damage. I noticed this when a God Party from an earlier version of the HLPM was doing about 18000 damage with Arcane Blow, where a God party from the most recent version were only doing 2000-5000 with the same spell against the same enemy. So, basically, just setting the spell levels back to where they were should fix it. [ Monday, March 12, 2007 20:22: Message edited by: Nioca ] -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Thanks. However, I think I've found a bug: You have the spell levels too high for god parties. Their damage levels are now wrapping around to zero as well. Also, maybe you could make a kill-switch for the arena. More specifically, an ability you could use as a last resort to immediately end the fight (in case you get in a little over your head). And maybe a healer in the shopping area that can raise dead party members. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! Congratulations, Dikiyoba. May your next 1001 posts be as fruitful and tri-sapien as the last. Oh, and I possess a Y chromosome, Sarasaphilia. And my posting rates also come from being able to type very quickly. [ Monday, March 12, 2007 18:41: Message edited by: Nioca ] -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Frankly, each of the above is intelligent enough to comprehend the consequences to their own actions. Doing something as large as the rebellion, it's foolish to think that there wouldn't be repercussions from their rash actions. quote:Ironically, the blame for this lies with the rebels. Be more specific; There are several spots that require mechanics skill. Are you hacking into Northern Grosch, are you close to Monarch's personal chambers, or are you somewhere else? Anyway there is a single route to Monarch that requires no mechanics. Prepare for a bloodbath, though. First, go into the fens just west of Shaper Camp Gamma and smash your way through the hordes of rogues there. Then, go up into Southern Grosch and hack your way to the north end of that zone (Make sure you've done the rescue Khyryk quest first). Then, head into Northern Grosch, and hug the zone border and head west to the water. Sticking to the water, head north and take down the three Battle Alphas. Head east, hacking your way through more rogues and some servile defenders, and descend into the pit as quickly as possible. Now, confront Monarch and have your creations pursue him. Meanwhile, break off to the west and enter the room with the vats. Work your way around there (if possible, try to avoid picking a fight with the techs) and unlock the door. Make sure to keep your creations pounding Monarch in the meantime. Follow the path, and slip around the mines. Then, finish Monarch. That was probably a lot more than you were asking for, wasn't it? -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! In GF1 through 3, battle creations were rather worthless. They could often be killed before they even reached their target. Because of the new AP system in GF4, battle creations have become useful. It's just that an army of Battle Betas still isn't quite as impressive as an army of Wingbolts. -------------------- Scenarios need reviews! Please rate these scenarios at the CSR after playing them! Do you mean granting the party a spell outdoors? That requires a somewhat steady grasp on scripting to do. I suppose I could make it for you, but I'd need your current outdoor script. It's pretty much the same as granting a spell indoors. Look at the spellbook in Roses of Reckoning to see what it basically consists of. Or, you could post the script here and I could add the state myself. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed.
