Favourite Compliment in General

A compliment that I'd like would be pretty simple. "You're cute, nice, or sweet" is always appreciate it. But my fav compliment that I've recieved was: "You're beautiful". and it wasn't that long ago. Though it always depends on the tone of voice of the person who says it.

Of course they are. It's a good excuse to increase their post count. Okay Okay It's an excuse to increase their post count.

You didn't get the pun. :P

Admittedly, it was an awful one.

Also admittedly, it was Alo's pun.

Got it now. I know Alo likes to use puns and all, but please.

I happen to disagree. I rather be an apprentince (which is one of the worst titles ever) than canned. It's sooooooo (what's that word?) humiliating.

edit: Nice questions, Random but Ok

I hadn't heard of quenepas before -- it took me a Google search to find out they were a fruit. Wikipedia says quenepas are sometimes called Spanish limes. Despite the name, they're actually more closely related to lychees (which are better-known over here).

I thought that was the translation. We (dominicans) call it limoncillos, and yeah they look a lot like limes only smaller and sweet. It's one of my fav fruits.

I can top that story. When my mom was 8 years old she had this crazy thing for Quenepas (not sure if this is the right translation). So she lean into a thing full of concrete blocks in order to grab them, well one of the blocks fell into her head and she had to be taken into an emergency room. She ended up just fine but with several stiches. Nevertheless, a week later she was playing with a rocking chair, fell backwards and ended up in the emergency room yet again.
There is also the time she burned the palm tree and tons of more stories. I never had that problem though; I was always the quiet kid.

I like a lot of sports, yet the only sport I actually follow is baseball. But the yankees have been playing so bad this year that I don't even bother.

Edit: to Drakey: I never really liked the Orioles. If I were to be a fan of another team it would be the Mets or Boston.

It really is. Union House alone is practically a supermarket and social club rolled into one. There's even a theatre.

That's awsome. My school has around 20,000 students so the campus is pretty big; nevertheless it is nothing compare to yours.

It is okay to congratulate, yet what you are doing my friend is called kissing up. Which brings me to an excellent question: Should we start kissing up to Kel now that he is into a whole new level of power?? or should we treat him like a regular powerless sw member?

On average my classes have 45 students, and some have few as 30. A class having 20-25 students is considered a small class at my school, and would commonly be only open to people with the particular subject as a major, or at odd hours of the day/night.

--------------------------------------------

I don't mind getting up early, as I've been getting up around 7:00 for years. I usually sign up for classes that start around 10:00 because I have a lot to do in the morning before I leave the house.

Indeed. Almost all my classes have 45 to 50 students, yet I've taken two major classes (psy and phil) where there were around 120 students. It wasn't that bad, but I def prefer smaller classes.
To Jeros: Don't be fooled my friend. Even when you are in smaller classes, teachers still don't care about you.

To Dolphin: I wouldn't mind waking up early either (God knows I should be used to it by now), if it wouldn't be for the cold temperature outside and the boring day ahead of me.

I was talking about my ex-boss as a matter of fact; I just figured that the members in here that have worked would know the feeling of having a horrible boss who seems to know your every move. Anyhow, Being my own boss is out of the question since I'm only 18 living at my mother's house and going to college full time while managing to work part-time to pay for my quite expensive tuition bill. I don't lose hope that it would happen some day though.

Indeed. I got used to not having breakfast really early in life, but waking up early to go to school is not even remotely as hard as waking up early to go to work. Getting up to face a day of "boredom" in school doesn't even compare to facing a hard day of work with your boss watching your back.
Now if you think you that your schedule is messed up and keep complaining waking up early, check out mine for the next following 4 months: My first class starts at 7:30am, and since I live far away from school I need to get leave the house at 6:00am. If I don't want to be late that is, which means that I have to wake up at least 4:45am. Moreover, my last class ends at 6:00pm, which means i'll probably get to my house at 8:00pm. On the positive note, I only go to college Tuesdays and Thursdays so it is not that bad.

of course, you are welcome to prove me wrong onm that (i've hardly checked every single rock i've come across, but as far as i can tell, they have no value whatsoever. i presume they were put in the game just because Jeff thought it made sense that there would be rocks all over the place. of course, for some odd reason you can't throw the rocks it seems... go figure).

I think it was fairly obvious that we were being sarcastic about it. Everyone that has played any GF game knows that rocks have no value whatsoever. Now, I can understand that Jeff would put rocks in the game. Yet creating a cheatcode for it? Niceeee

Who can actually answer yes to that question? We should answer No even if we do like it; no one should ever know the truth.

Now K-8 I didn't really like. It was fairly anoying, and I had to wear an ugly yellow uniform. High School was awsome; I really liked it. The classes were fairly easy, and I had my best friends with me at all times. Nevertheless, as everyone else said College is the best. You get to make your own schedule with the classes you want, and you don't feel that force that tells you that you have to be there. You are there because you want to. But nothing and I say nothing beats vacation. Therefore, no matter how much I like college, I still prefer being on vacation.

Edit: Yay to me and my last week of vacation.
