Reading books by Feynman again, for the second ot third time. I like Ayn Rand, Ray Bradbury short stories, mindless detective/police/tomclancyesque novels. I haven't read a fantasy book in quite a while. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

I find the 3rd movement of Brahm's 4th Symphony more interesting, too. Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

The music of silence. Ahhh... silence. EDIT: I just noticed the "show signature" box for the first time, so I unchecked it. Yay. [ Tuesday, December 02, 2003 15:39: Message edited by: Sir Lion of Patience ] Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

Actually, I did get my title after the banning. *i was changing "BANNED" back to something nicer, and so he decided to give me a custom title. So both of you are somewhat right, but I'm completely correct! -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

And the room of doors? Ahh, the memories... *wipes a tear* I think this time I'll make a walkthrough as I create the scenario, both for those who actually want to play the scenario and for me while I test it. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

The weather balloons are floating lower than usual these days. Maybe they might drop some data sooner than one might expect? Once I'm done with this Meteorologist business, I'll probably make the Shrine of Insanity, which is a scenario I never completed in BoE (though I got fairly far). The whole plot is that the party has ended up in a dungeon and must get out. The puzzles are near-impossible, and some just require a whole lot of luck. And with the scripting system, it's going to be even more complex and brain-wracking. Yay! -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

"Moxie" is an odd truncation, It rather seems like my name's annihilation. The rhythm was off these last two lines, I don't mind, I'm not paying fines. My bad day turned from bad to good, There was one factor, and that was food. After lunch, smile you should, It'll improve and rebuild an awful mood. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

What's wrong with Russian composers Alec? I'm listening to Bach's Prelude in A flat major, from the Well-Tempered Clavier book 2. Friederich Goulda is playing. Any of you seen Olga Kirn in concert? She's gonna be the best pianist in the world, in my opinion, if she isn't already. EDIT: Ironically, the music just changed to Tchaikovsky's Mazurka from Swan Lake when I finished this post. I've been doing lots of thinking. None of it about politics, thankfully. That's a can of worms that'll stay closed for a long time to come. I'm a registered Republican, because in America you can't vote in the primaries unless you register under a certain party affiliation. However, I'm probably going to change to an Independant, because I care about the simple principle of being affiliated with one large generalized group. Politics should be looked at issue-by-issue, and not by party platform. Just my 2 hypocritical cents. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

The summer's waning, the fall's just gaining, In my mind it's warm, in the window it's raining, In the window it's raining, yet I see a scene, I see a painting, I see the weather gleam. I drive down the highway, wind chilling my hands, Wind burning my face, 'cross my face a grin spans. The music of the morn, the notes pleasantly roll, They gracefully roll, 'cross the crevices of my soul. I'm in no mood 'tall, no mood to digress, No position to scorn, no reason for hate to express, There not a thing in the world, the whole damn world, The whole damn world that'll halt the grandeur unfurled. Now I'm just babbling, it's eleven o'clock, Eleven o'clock, so please don't mock! I'm just doing my job, this essay is sad, Writing random poetry, it makes me glad. Bum da dum dum bum da dum dum, bum da dum bum bum da bum dum yum bum bum dum bum. Mmmm bummmm bummmm, yaaa daaaa daaa dum dum daaa dum dum, brum dum dum bum duuuuum! Byum da dum dum dum! -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

A valid point Djur brings, I've created vile things, All my 'haiku' was travesty, Nothing close to majesty. On one other point others've brought up, Problems and conflicts some have with my meter: It's eleven ocklock, I'll not end this retort, I'm crawling in bed and activating the heater. (That was the lamest poem I've yet written, Rather than read that, you'd rather be fleabitten.) EDIT: Hope nobody saw it. =p [ Wednesday, November 12, 2003 11:13: Message edited by: On a Given Sunday ] -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

You wouldn't want to get a custom title the way I did. I was banned for a while, and when I was allowed to return, while one of the mods was correcting my BANNED title, they changed it to what I've got now. -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |
