Okay, no undead. But the cold is from Nalyd being, well, cold. Personally. And he is very mini-moddish. To stick up for Iffy, he was the worst noob/newb here, once. Now he's only the worst newb. EDIT- Everyone is against Nalyd. Nobody likes him. Weakness, not strength. But he can be very manipulative at boardgames. Seoth never was able to overcome Geltor. He made a lightning barrier to stall for time, which wouldn't delay either god for more than a minute or so. And if the sword was a solid thing of flame, then it's just a bit smaller and cooler now. Still hellishly demonic, though. Nalyd can lower the temperature in his vicinity drastically. He can raise undead minions, and can be driven into a frenzy of death by spelling or grammar mistakes, no matter how slight. The same goes for CoC violations or pretty much anything that the pickiest board member ever might find vaguely annoying. He can also be very, very unfriendly. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

The Richard White Cultists are retroactive and random. They are retroactively random and randomly retroactive. Read Dikiyoba The Great's stories for a clearer picture. But it's only that way because the cultists retroactively changed the future from the past. And, remember, it's only a matter of time before Episode 4 comes out! Okay, now it's a sword. Not a flaming sword, just a sword. And the rain was part of Seoth. :P -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

Seoth stood quietly behind Geltor. The storm clouds gathered above had turned a threatening black, and heat lightning played between them. His undead had chased the neophyte god Noric far away. He quietly observed the overpowered butterflies and the exchange between Geltor and James. Seoth smiled under his helm of bone. He summoned the rain. Geltor's ring of fire sputtered out. His sword started to hiss and smoke. A lightning bolt struck the ground around Geltor and James, drawing a circle of light around the gods. It sprang up into a wall of lightning, crackling angrily. It wouldn't stop them long, but it'd do. Seoth drifted into the shadows, following Noric. Geltor's angered bellows followed him. And what happened to Seoth? He sent his undead after Noric, and then he stayed with Geltor. At least, Nalyd had planned it that way. Guess he'll have to go along with it or risk messing up the other IC's. Time for a game of cat and mouse! -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Well, Noric and Cassius ran. There go your backup, LF. James seems outmatched here. Should we postpone the Climactic Battle O' Death? -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

Seoth was not going mad. He was weak and tired, yes, but not insane. He had not ingested the demon blood, and he had not sustained any wounds into which it could enter. But Geltor, apparently, didn't know that. Time to exercise his powers of deceit. Seoth spoke in a whisper. His skeletal face did not move. "Geltor," he rasped, exuding an aura of credibility, "If I must side with you to stay sane, then I will. The balance can always be brought back later." James looked stunned. Seoth whirled around and pulled a sword of lightning out of his cloak, more than ready to attack the two gods. Seoth morphed into a living suit of armor made out of bone. No part of him was left uncovered. He sent a wave of power through the ground, drawing up skeletons and the like. Raised by a god, they were more powerful than normal undead. They would still be nothing more than a distraction to James, so he sent them after Noric. Storms began to gather. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Nalyd made a thread on this somewhere, he's sure. But the UBB search is erratic and bad, so he'll find it manually. Eventually. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

Nalyd doesn't mean an army of undead servants. Just a nice skeleton following him around. And he isn't quite a newb anymore. He's. . . older. . . or something. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

You can't switch parties between games. The games advance in chronological order from 1-4. BoA fits in wherever the scenario designer wants it to. And, yes, Geneforge is the same. But we don't have a Blades of Geneforge. . . yet. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

True enough, but the demon had to either walk through a wall in a burst of flame and face Seoth head-on, or he could slowly inch forward, pretending to be harmless. His guise would be no match for godly super-vision up close. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. It's Nalyd. . . And he practices Necromancy as in bringing the dead back as mindless servants, not topic necromancy, which is bad. And it's something someone did in their unfillable free time. It's funny. Ha ha. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it. Posts: 1636 | Registered: Wednesday, January 5 2005 08:00 |

A god is a god. They have perceptions and senses unknown to mortals, within a certain radius. Mervingorix had the aid of at least two god-powers to help him with his ambush. The demon was a very powerful one, and thus more easily sensed. Seoth was on the lookout for intruders or assassins already, as per Mervingorix's orders. -------------------- May the fires of Undeath burn in your soul, and consume it.
