So are all the Avernum games chronological?

Where does Blades of Avernum fit in?

Is there any character continuation between the games? Can I bring my party from game 1 to game 2?

What about the Geneforge games? Are they set up the same?

You can't switch parties between games. The games advance in chronological order from 1-4. BoA fits in wherever the scenario designer wants it to. And, yes, Geneforge is the same. But we don't have a Blades of Geneforge. . . yet.

Also, with careful reading through the games you can get a rough idea as to how long it is between events
