Episodes 1 and 2 were abominations? While I agree that they did not out-do the original three, I wouldn't call them horrible. Well, maybe ep.2 comes close but ep.1 stood it's ground, imho. -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

Thx. I should have known to google it, guess I was lazy. It is a concept that I include in his senority not just his member number. The concept is actually how hubby does business. He hates cold calls so most of our business comes through previous contacts, referrals, and relationship building. He's in BNI and gets alot of referrals from there too. When he went for training in tidbits at their HQ they told him that no one would ever call him for an ad and that he would always have to go out to sell ads. Not a week goes by, though, that we don't get at least one call from someone interested in an ad. He's just a good buinessman that way. Now if only we could sell the back page... -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

*LOL (at the partridge)* Now what was this topic about again? Oh yeah... I'm in agreement with Alo, if you have pets, no matter what species, you need to restrain them and at least keep them on your own property. Dogs have leash laws, chickens should, too. As a side thought: My neighbors are mong and they keep chickens in their garage/backyard (they've actually cut holes in the side of their garage so the chickens can go inside and outside)and they are pretty good about keeping them penned up. But that stupid rooster crows so early in the morning that I sometimes feel like turning them in (it's not legal to keep chickens inside town limits) but then I remember what nice people they are, stick my pillow over my head, and go back to sleep. More people download(steal) music and the record companies(who I'll agree probably make way too much money for what they do) start to lose money. The more they lose, the more they have to raise prices for the people who do buy and the more people decide it's not worth it and just download it instead. -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

But, as has been said before, if you're gonna start fighting common sense says 'put down the backpack first'. I suppose it would be more realistic to actually have to take a movement point to drop anything in your inventory but then I would agree with cfgauss that it's very annoying. 'Round here, 'redneck' is what people who don't like country music call anybody who listens to/ enjoys/ sings along with country music out in the open where they can be seen. It also helps to have a car or two up on cinder blocks in your yard. :P -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

You must have a small screen then, because even with my favorites bar open @ 2.75 inches wide there is no distortion. Except for the window that opens up below where you write a new post, but there is no distortion there when I have my favorites closed as I usually do. -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

quote:Yea, I was way too excited about it, but it was one of the first ones I played and it was the first 'good' one I played so after the horrible stuff I had started with it seemed like a 9 at the time. I'll probably go back and change my rating someday... And cghauss, as far as I know you are only encumbered by the armor you have equipped, not by everything you are carring. It's why when I want my mostly priest to cast a mage spell or two I have him unequip his shield during battle. -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

quote:It depends on the scenario. The name is excaping me for the moment but a remember a scenario with a ton of special items that cost 25000 each. I'm pretty sure it was the one that I made such a big deal about rating it a 9 because it was a challenge for my god party. Most items were in a Vahaniti town that went hostile on you once you talked to the leader. Anyways, I could only buy one supercool item at a time before I had to run out and kill an uber amount of monsters to get my gold back up. I finally gave in and started cheating, pimping out my god party with the best stuff I've come across yet. It's an extreme example but it's not unheard of. I remember once while playing E3 I ran into the guy who sells magic items along the road. There were three things I wanted but I could only get one because I didn't have enough money even though I had the max amount I could carry. -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

I really don't see the contraversy over ben's moniker. I just call him ben no matter what he changes it to. The same with TM, Aran, and Alorael; who, to be fair, have sported much longer names then the one ben currently has. quote:Not from my personal experience but what I've learned from others: Grandma Sue is a radiolotist. More of a nurse with alot of training then an MD, but her work schedule is a big pain. She's almost always working, on-call or on back-up call which means that she gets very little time to just go and do whatever she wants even on her days off. She does get paid a whole lot for the work she does though. So if you don't mind being married to your job, as opposed to having a social life it could be for you. Teaching, on the other hand, has a very structured schedule with short hours and 3 months of vacation every year. Pay is minimal depending on where you teach at and you usually don't get paid over the summer. So if you like your social life and don't mind getting gyped on pay it could be for you. I don't know many dentists to refer their experiences to you but I do know that there's a whole lot of people who hate to go to the dentist and/or transfer that hate to their dentist. So if you don't mind being hated it could be for you. As far as scheduling I think that alot of dentists end up running their own practice ie. "being their own boss" and therefore get to set their own hours and go on vacation whenever they like. My dentist has a very good bedside manner and he wouldn't be my dentist if he didn't. To be successful you really need to be likable to bring your customers back and get referrals. -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |

I really enjoy the soundtrack to the movie 'Hook'. I'm probably biased though because I learned the music in my symphony orchestra. I usually group orchestral soundtracks in with classical music in my own mind, probably because it's played pretty much the same way. Mr. Holland's Opus and ET are good soundtracks too. I haven't listened to the LotR soundtrack seperate from watching the movie. I think I'd have to inorder to appreciate it fully. 'Bout time I got out the movie and watched it again, too. :) -------------------- Forever Always on Past the End tracihedlund@charter.net TrueSite for Blades - Blades Walkthroughs Pixle Profusion - BoE Graphics Archive Posts: 563 | Registered: Tuesday, July 27 2004 07:00 |
