We do have the nodes set for the person(only one NPC so far). We're still working on the town script, maybe that's the problem.

Hi! The only unofficial rule I can think of right now is don't revive old, pointless topics unless you want to getg flamed(I made this mistake).

My sister and I are making a short scenario to learn scripting. We're trying to get dialogue to work. We've done everything that the instructions said and saved it as tempestdlg.txt in the scenario folder. When we try to get it to work, however, a message comes up saying that no dialogue had been set up. Any help would be appreciated.

Put the sword in a friendly town, kill Fred the angry bookshelf, go back to the friendly town, wow, your sword is still there(hopefully).

EDIT: Sorry, don't mean to sound sarcastic, but a lot of stuff is going on right now in my family and I'm stressed out from trying to escape young cousins who have no idea what's going on and want to play.

I haven't had a serious ambition for years. Staying in education is my way of avoiding this. I don't feel I have a great purpose in life or any wish to be famous, so I'd settle for pretty much anything.

Become a neurologist or a speech pathologist and help me! Even my stutter isn't normal for spasmodic dysphonia!!!! Not sure if I have it yet, but I might. We're still working on finding out.

EDIT:

Nico, I have a stutter myself. I wouldn't even consider such a career.
Oh well. It doesn't matter anyways since we just found out that I have a 'clutter'. It's so rare most speech pathologists don't know about it.

I want to be a cellist for the orchestras in movies and traveling shows and do a bit of writing on the side. It would be great to just be a writer, but you need someway to pay the bills and stuff while you're an unknown and I like to travel(the rare times my family goes on vacations, the last one wa to Canada when I was about five years old) so being in orchestras would take me to all sorts of places. I used to want to be a vet(for animals, not war), but I want to be able to travel freely when I grow up and you need to be availble at all hours when you're a vet.

Bye! Enjoy yourself! If you don't have one already, use this as an excuse to get the best kind of computer out(or at least a G4).

Out of curiosity, what's your major?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but for the heck of it, I looked at the Our Games section of Spiderweb's site and all of the non-Vogel games were gone. I never planned on buying one, but I'm curious why they were taken off.

Pretty much what Buttered Toast said. When I kill off villages in VODT, I say random stuff like, 'I'm saving you from the sickness!' and 'It's for your own good, you know.' I get pretty crazy after playing computer games 12 hours a day for a week. Oh, and I do see the phrase 'get a life' coming.

I always thought it was an exchange-you answer people's questions about games and stuff and in return, you get your questions answered and are allowed to say really random stuff.
