Once a monster I was fighting casted Cloud of Blades. It ended in the monster's death, his spell finishing him off. It's wonderful to fight suicidal monsters :D -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies. Thanks! Now all I have to do is pull a non-existent thirty dollars out of the air, give it to my sister, and get her to buy the game for me. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Is it in the demo? Where is it sold(tell me where whether it's in the demo or not please, someday I might be able to scrape together enough money to buy the game)? -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. The only bad part about that is you can't stab neutral/somewhat friendly/friendly people(i.e. the merchant who sold you a useless pair of scissors that you didn't want just because you were having mouse problems). :( It wouldn't have to be complicated, you could just program it to hit whatever's in your path, friendly or not when you press 'shift' while you click. It would also keep me from the boredom of going into fight mode just before I go on one of my killing sprees(only in the friendly towns of course) :D -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. In my real brain(meaning not in the game), I agree with the Awakened. Revenge always seemed pretty stupid to me(Look! He killed my father the expert swordsman! Since I'm only 10 and have no real purpose in life, let alone skill, I'm gonna hunt him down and make him pay!). In my character's brain, I usually agree with the Takers, just to get treasure/power/a continent named after me :P -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. My sister had trouble with that too. In the end she casted Control Mind(or whatever that spell is called) on the Efreet and she went in the golem's room in fight mode. Then she used her mage and priest to heal, cast Control Mind on the Efreet as it wore off, and shoot arrows at the golems whether they were asleep or not. She used her fighters to shoot arrows and use melee weapons on the golems at the far end of the hall. The Efreet kept the Demon Golem busy. After the smaller golems are killed, the Demon Golem can't heal itself anymore and is easy to attack. This sometimes takes a few tries to work, but it does eventually. EDIT: No, only the asleep golem you were attacking becomes hostile. I found that out while I was bored and summoning a bunch of monsters, attacking one, preferably a dragon, and watching the others kill it. Very amusing. :P [ Friday, August 27, 2004 16:09: Message edited by: Nicothodes ] -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies. Yes. If scenarios take a while to come out, you can always make towns full of friendly and hostile people/monsters and watch them fight. That way you can play with the editor and not have to worry about code. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies. Take the scariest dream you can remember and flesh it out. Note that it doesn't have to be exactly scary, but it can be really distubing and haunt you a lot. This makes for very disturbing plot lines(depending on what you consider scary. imagine-puppies! puppies everywhere! and kittens! and all of them are hot pink!!!!!!! *faints*). -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. No. To find this out, I used a party on torment and a party on normal fighting the rats in Fort Talrus in VODT. Both groups started with 38 exp. and had 76 exp. after killing one rat. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. We have cookies. Okay, I just need to get this out of my system. Then I'll wish you a late happy birthday again. Okay, here goes. Rosycat, why are you calling Ben and oh God? Sorry about that, I'm reading Terry Prachett and there's a character called the oh God of Hangovers. He's always unconscious. EDIT: Forgot to write this the first time. Happy Birthday. May you have many more years of whatever music you like playing with a frog(I don't know, whatever animal you want. Keep in mind that elephants are heavy.) sittiing on your head while you play a never-ending supply of Spiderweb Software(again, whatever you want) games that are falling through the hole in your celing(sp?). Never mind. I wrote something evil, though I guess that fits in with the topic. However, it would make more people hate me and my friends(yes, I do have friends), who I constantly urge to check out this site, think I'm weird(which they already know).
