i.e. does killing a creature in torment give more XPs than killing the SAME creature at a lower difficulty?

No. To find this out, I used a party on torment and a party on normal fighting the rats in Fort Talrus in VODT. Both groups started with 38 exp. and had 76 exp. after killing one rat.

Oh, well... to me, sounds a bit disappointing...
Anyway, I'll keep play on torment!
Thanks!

I think it would be a little too easy if you could gain levels faster on a higher difficulty level. I mean, each difficulty level doesn't increase the difficulty that much.
