Bye the time I get to the closet that has the explosive box I have two people left, and then on the way out the Guardian murders my other two.
You see, the box isn't worth it. It blows you up.

If you are having problems with Guardians, here's what you do:

1. Save your game

2. Cast Enduring Barrier, Haste, Radiant Shield, and War Blessing as nessecary

3. Open the door to the room with the guardians in it

4. Go into Combat Mode

5. Get your characters into the room, clustered together in a sort of "L" shape

6. Wait for a Guardian to attack

7. Systematically attack all empty spaces surrounding that character until you hit the Guardian

8. If it isn't dead yet, then attack that same spot until it dies.

9. Exit Combat Mode and save your game

10. Repeat steps 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 as nessecary for additional Guardians.

He's in a secret libray near the lower right-hand corner. Go into the cooridor that goes all the way around the Tower, and go to that corner, and keep bumping into the walls. You'll find him.

Misc. Scenario ideas/wishlist in Blades of Avernum

An island where there's a war between the GIFTS and the giant bad spiders(can't remember their name, but they're the enemies of the GIFTS. "Areana" or something like tha, I think. They're the ones that cast spells at you). And you have to decide whether you help giant bad spiders(who offer you access to all sorts of magic and artifacts, etc.) or the GIFTS(who offer you a lot of bugs, and other misc. items that they've collected but have no use for(i.e. A whole lot of junk, with a few handfuls of rubies and emeralds and some magic jewelery, maybe a few good weapons, and a bunch of coins)

(I have absolutely zero talent with the editor, and I can't do scripting, so if anyone wants to make this scenario, be my guest.)

Because it takes a heck of a lot of Spell Points unless you have a rediculous ammount of Magical Efficiency.

True, but first you save your game near 'some' wall section then cast Far Sight. If you don't see any secret passages around, then just restore.

I do that all the time. :D

James

Ooooooooooooooo.............. I did that with the Far Sight scroll before I learned the spell........

I split up my party so that my mage and one of my two fighters is fighting one and my priest and other fighter are fighting the other. Having your magic-users also know hand-to-hand combat has its perks.

This is why we have the "Change Day" option in the character editor. I used it at least 3 times.

Thanks! I killed it.

Which brings up the question: How can an undead die? It already died once. And how come your weapons don't go through shades and spirits and the like? Oh well. It doesn't matter.

How do I get to the spectre that killed the ghost and its friends? I know where the boat is, and I have a pretty good idea of where the spectre is, but I can't reach either of them.

They look like the Roswell aliens. ~_~

But really, it depends on the situation whether I like them or not(balme mood swings) in A3, I just wanted to break every bone in their scrawny little bodies and throw them in that pit.

But they save your life in VoDT, so they can't be all bad.

The Great Circle. Fresh air, demons(YAY! \o/), items abound :P , lots of visitors ;) , and I could have a nice little cave dug into one of the surrounding mountains, and the Circle would be my front yard.

Or maybe the Golem Factory. It's a nice place, after you turn off the lasers. And I could have Golems waiting on me hand an foot.
