Anyone remember this? You know, we had Aran's blessing and everything to make an Encyclopedia Ermarian for the Geneforge universe? It was going to be loads of fun for me, and maybe a few others? Never got off the ground?

And so, I'm calling for the resurrection of the Sucia Archives. We've already basically got all of the categories down; all we need are a few standards and forms for articles, and we can start.

There's a game. It's called Kingdom of Loathing. None of you have ever heard of it, most likely. I mean, if you had you'd have a clan, and I've checked all sorts of potential names. (The Vogelites, The Spiderwebers, GIFTS, Spiderweb Alliance, etc.)

Anyways, a satirical game like that, filled with all sorts of hidden references, (general and Spidweb-specific) and tons of Vogelite humor would be perfect. I'm sure that, if Jeff put his mind to it, he could make a hilarious game with an epic plot.

For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway. It's, supposedly, his best book, and it details the life of an American antifascist guerilla working for the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War. Pretty good, and I would recommend it to any fascists here.

Let's see... I follow Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau on my MSN page. It's where I get all of my news from, besides the occasional thread bearing news on one of two forums I follow (One of them might be this one!). Which is why it's quite infuriating when Doonesbury just does a re-run comic strip. That that Bourgeoisie Capitalistic Elitist Classist Aristocratic Corporatist can only get his act together once and a while to write a simple comic strip, while the Proletariat Workers and Peasantry are being oppressed with constant back-breaking labor infuriates me.

False. The effects of the Skribbane, the hightened strength, dexterity, etc., would be absorbed by the Canister, weaving it into your very genes. Sure, the side effects would still be present, but by the point you should start using these things, you should be able to deal with yourself magically. Either that, or someone'll make a canister making you resistant to the withdrawl symptoms, or you can be altered that way.

False. When the canisters are allowed to seep in the Skribbane plants, they add them to the DNA of the user. That meaning that the user will get the effects of using Skribbane woven into their very genes, along with the effects of the Canister itself. Very potent.

Essence Weaver: One who weaves essence

Beyond that, I can only guess. Crafter could be the guys who make all the magical items, or it could be abbreviated form of Lifecrafter. As for essence weaver, that's probably a fancy term for Shaper apprentice or something. Or the people who make Essence Infused Skin. I don't know, these are pretty weak.

Can I get a full list of the new titles, please?

As expressed in the former thread, I'm irritated. The first change was fine, I suppose, but now it's just like they're trying to irk ET.

Besides, Spiderweb is more than just Geneforge, and it was not built on Geneforge.

It's still a loose connection. Two canisters on either side would be more appropriate, don't you think? Besides, if memory serves, DNA was only recently discovered in the Geneforge-verse. It's still a flimsy reason for the triskellions, and there's no real reasoning behind the anti-Shaper sentiment behind it either, so it's basically "because."

By the way, you could be a bit more artsy with the stars, ET. Like the ban medal stars being Tennessee's state flag stars.

I like the list, mostly because it doesn't have me on it. On the other hand, that flag looks so... meh. It's better than the predecessor, but the symbolism is so obscure. The triskellions "because", and the DNA for no apparent reason. I could make a better flag than that, but I already have, several times.

So, you've had two milleniums to work on it. How is world conquest going?

Do quests for the Shapers. Particularily, betray the Rebel Safehouse, or if you did the Loyalist quests for Shaila and the Caravan back in the Forsaken Lands. If that isn't enough, do quests for the other people around Rivergate Keep. Also, don't do things for the Rebels.

If you already refused to tell them the location of the Safehouse and whatnot, you're pretty much doomed to being a Rebel. Or a Trakovite.

That's right. Come November 2008, voters everywhere will be coming to polling stations to vote for the Leader of the World. You see, His second term is coming to an end soon, and He cannot run for a third, thankfully. He's been the man in charge since the beginning of this dreaded period of time, and I'm hoping that we can get some real change in the higher ups come November.
